It works! I was caught on a windy day in the rain and the umbrella did a good job of keeping me dry and not turning inside out, it was fine. I’ve not had it that long so I can't comment on it's longevity but it does appear to be of good quality. It compact, lightweight, and easy to use, although it does take a little omph to get to close after I've pushed the button. I also like the fact that the velcro tie used when closing up the umbrella is actually big enough to comfortably go round it rather than being barely big enough like other umbrella I've had; so it much easier to put away.

This really is a great umbrella. The push button open and close function works every time, making it extremely easy to deploy and then put away. It comes with a sleeve to keep it in and fits nicely in a small backpack or bag. The build quality is remarkable considering the price point, making it a very sturdy umbrella. It also comes with a lifetime warranty, so how could it be any better! Don't hesitate, buy one now. You wont regret it!

Just received delivery of my new brolly. It's a little bigger than any of my previous brollies however still folds down small enough to fit in my bags. The first thing is the care and personal touch in which the seller has taken with this product, (a little note) in with the item is a nice touch. Secondly the minute you pick the umbrella out the zip bag it came in you can feel it is a substantial, quality umbrella.It is easily opened with the automatic button, good size coverage to keep you dry. It is just as easy to close using the same button, then push top and bottom at the same time to close it down - easy.Not tried in windy weather yet but does feel like it would withstand a fair amount of wind.All in all totally pleased with this purchase and would recommend without hesitation.

I am clearly at that age now where I only buy quality items and I cannot stand sending poor quality items to landfill any longer. I purchased this umbrella in a week of constant rain so it really got its use. It feels excellent quality, the button is easy to use in terms of getting the umbrella up quickly. It functions well, has kept me dry, and has even withstood some pretty strong winds and hasn’t folded or buckled in anyway. The metal frame seems more reinforced than most compact umbrellas.The fact that there is a lifetime guarantee for this product makes it excellent value for money. I appreciate the thoughtful design and letter from the founder.My only notes for people to consider are these: this is significantly heavier in weight than any other umbrella I’ve owned, so it might not be suitable for anyone older or frail or with accessibility issues. I also have difficulty getting it down as you have to push quite hard to reduce the length and get it to lock back into the handle. As it is stronger and fairly large, it is also not as compact as I am used to. For me, these are things I can compromise on for an umbrella that withstands the crazy storms we get here, but I thought I would mention it for anyone considering purchasing who may have strength issues.

Bought for granddaughter to keep in her school backpack. It is compact and great for unexpected weather conditions. As it is storm proof it should be perfect. It came with a plastic bag to keep it in, which I wasn't expecting. The package came with a lovely letter ftom the supplier and confirmed that a replacement will be supplied if needed.

Brilliant umbrella.Only down side is that it's a little heavier and girthier than the average brolly.Totally worth it though considering that, unlike most other brollies, it ACTUALLY does what it's supposed to.

Great umbrella, it’s strong and wide. If it does invert I believe all umbrellas do this however this one is strong and maintains its shape!

This product is a complete joke. What I received didn’t look anything like an umbrella.

How do you buy an umbrella? One that covers you when it's raining, and you don't have to stand in the rain to close it before getting in the car or store. Of course if it holds up and doesn't flip, that's a bonus.I found Tumella and I can't say enough good things about this umbrella! Just the right size! I never had an umbrella that closed with a button! We had a couple days without rain so I tried it out. It opened just right and then it closed but there was something that didn't look right. I had read the story about the company and sent an email with my question. Customer service responded immediately with kind professionalism. They determined the problem from photos and sent a new umbrella within a couple days! Customer service followed up to make sure all was right. For my experience the quality of this umbrella just ranked higher than I can say. When you take a beautifully designed umbrella, that is sturdy beyond regular standards and then add great customer service, you have an outstanding product! Try one and see.
