You get a spare pad with the bin, it looks small but is deceptive in the amount it can hold I find 2 to 3 days capacity before I need go to outer bin, probably could get another day, depending on how much cooking of fresh veg peelings used. It sits neatly on counter top. An blends in unobtrusively with my other utensils. I recommend this bin an seller.

I loved this cute bin. It's just the right size for me and I keep it in the larder. The size means that I don't keep the contents too long before emptying them. Much more hygenic. And it keeps the fruit flies away.I like having the inner bin which is easy to clean and also the insert to stop any smells. Both bins have handles too which makes them easy to carry to where I am going to use it.

It is a lovely little bin - the emphasis being on 'little'. I ordered it because I wanted 5 litres of composting material to be available but this has a capacity of just 2 litres & 200 mls. Note, this is the capacity of the removable inner container- which is also a feature I specifically wanted so that I don't have to use bags - which claim to be compostable but which often aren't. The capacity of the metal outer container would be more, but def not 5 litres! So ignore the size in the description but go for the bin if you don't mind the size. I am keeping mine even though it isn't what I had been aiming for. I really like it. And, thinking about it, a 5 litre bin would be pretty large to have around in the kitchen! So all's well that end's well then.....Oh and the carbon filter is a good feature- and one spare is supplied.

Super toller Komposteimer für Biomüll. Gerade das herausnehmbare Inlet macht sich toll um den Eimer zu entleeren. Und ist easy auswaschbar! Wir benutzen ihn sehr gerne und er passt auch super zu unserer Küchendekoration. Richtig toll finde ich, dass wenn man z.B. eine Gurke schält, das direkt über dem Eimer machen kann und so direkt weniger Küchenabfälle auf dem Tresen liegen. Sparrt Aufräum- und Putzzeit!
