I tend to keep the laptop lid closed so I can tuck it out of the way and just use monitor. This works flawlessly and is much better than the camera on my work laptop. It plugs into the hub on my monitor so I don't have cables trailing everywhere. The camera itself is good quality and works well with Microsoft Teams. Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Bought this to use Windows Hello with my ROG Ally when docked, it works flawlessly. I also use it for work video calls on my Macbook Pro and the picture and sound quality is excellent.

Edited: Initialy gave 1-star as I was unabel to set this up with Windows Hello (see below). However, after researching the issue, it appears it is likely Windows was at fault, not this device. If your PC has an internal IR webcam set up for Windows Hello, you have to disable it to use an external webcam.USB-C connection, device larger than expected. Limited manual controls. Good enough picture for my needs - social and work video calls. Windows 10 found it easily and it worked automatically with necessary apps. The automatic shutter worked flawlessly when I was testing it as did the manual operation thereof.However, the Hellocam part was a dismal experience. In more than an hour of testing, I got it to recognise my face once but then could not log in via facial recognition thereafter.

The webcam was delivered on time and was well packaged. I bought this for use with Windows 11 Hello. I plugged the cable into the camera and my laptop, went to my account settings and had this device up and running in no time. I have not yet had it an issue with it recognising me (but is early days to be fair). The image quality is absolutely fine in my opinion and is far, far better than that of my built in camera. The microphones are just as good too. Its just a pity that the camera isn't able to swivel a little, which would be helpful. The camera seems to be built from good quality materials and I like the automatic lens cover. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family. I will update this review should I have any issues.

Does what it says on the tin. Very good camera with good (too good) picture quality!Simple enough to plug and play. It has more settings to download which I unfortunately cannot with my work laptop so have not experienced the full range of the camera. But from a month’s use I am very happy. And works perfectly with Microsoft Hello.

Whilst slightly bigger I actually think this is better than the Logitech Hello webcam which is several times more expensive. Quick to wake up, love the camera cover that opens automatically. Highly recommended.

(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } 自作デスクトップPCで顔認証を使ってみたかったので、リモート会議でも使えるようなそれなりの画質のものをと思い機能面や価格とのバランスでこちらを選びました。Windows Hello対応カメラは意外に少なく、下はエレコムの￥4000台から上は￥30000台まであるので、￥10000前後の本品はミドルレンジといえると思います。●本体本体は上下左右にかなり自由に角度調整が効きます。本体下部に1/4ネジ穴がありミニ三脚などが使えます。ディスプレイの上に引っ掛けることもできます。本体の大きさは仕様どおりでWebカメラとしてはやや大きめですがWindows Hello用の赤外線ライトや後述のギミックが内蔵されているので仕方ないところではあります。●セットアップ本体をPCにつなぐとすぐ本体のセットアップが始まり、１分ほどで終了し認識されます。Windows Helloの顔認証登録は、「設定」→「アカウント」→「サインイン オプション」と進むと「Windows Hello 顔認証」の項目があるのでそこから行います。この時点でカメラは認識されており顔の登録が始まります。10秒ほどであっという間に終了。これで顔認証でログインできるようになります。●ギミックこのカメラのプライバシーシャッターは自動で開閉され、・ログイン時・Google MeetやZOOMなどのアプリやブラウザがカメラを掴んだときに「シャッ！」「シャッ！」と機敏に反応し、高いガジェット感を醸し出します笑リモート中にアプリからカメラをオフにしても「シャッ！」と閉じます。この「シャッ！」が本製品の最大のアドバンテージと言っても過言ではないですが、可動部は故障の原因になり得るので耐久性がこれから心配ではあります。レンズ左のメーカーロゴがタッチセンサになっており、手動でシャッターを閉めることもできます。●画質画質に関してはデフォルトだと蛍光灯下で白～青っぽい感じです。個人的な感想ですが解像感も高く、素直な映りに設定されていると思います。顔を認識して明るさの自動調整が入ります。被写界深度は深くパンフォーカス気味、接写はレンズから10cmくらいまでピントが合います。また、専用の画質調整アプリが用意されています。「NEXIGO HelloCam 顔認証 Webcamユーザーマニュアル」と検索すると日本語のページが出てくるので、そこから「ネキシゴ WEBCAM設定ソフトウェア」をダウンロードすることができます。（マニュアルを読むために広告が挟まるのはご愛敬）アプリは英語ですが、明るさ・コントラスト・ホワイトバランスなどを細かく簡単に調整することができ、設定を複数保存できます。画角は大体75°前後でそこまで広くなく変更はできません。（自分はやっていませんがほかの配信用アプリなどを噛ませてクロップすることはできると思います）リモート会議などで室内を広く映す必要がない場合はちょうどいい画角で、自分にはぴったりでした。●音質本体マイクを使う用途がないので不明です。海外のレビューを読む限り評判はよくないです。●総評顔認証＆リモート会議という用途にはかなりいいバランスの製品だと思います。YouTubeなどの配信を本格的にやる用途には物足りないかもしれません。ガジェット・ギミック好きなら選択肢に入れてもおもしろいと思います。

Très bien, bonne qualité de matériel. Utile pour Windows Hello mais mal fait niveau logiciel.ATTENTION : après installation, apparaissent deux caméras dans le gestionnaire de périphérique : "Nexigo HelloCam N930W Camera" et "Nexigo HelloCam N930W Camera IR". Par défaut Windows utilisera la première et vous dira que la caméra n'est pas compatible. Il faut donc désactiver la "Nexigo HelloCam N930W Camera" pour que ça marche. Cela veut dire qu'il faudra à chaque fois retourner la réactiver si vous voulez faire des vidéos normales. Très très pénible.

Die Kamera wird unter Windows 10 sofort erkannt und installiert. Weitere Software ist nicht notwendig. Lediglich Windows Hello kann Schwierigkeiten machen, aber dazu später mehr.Nach Installation erscheinen im Gerätemanager unter Kameras zwei Einträge: NexiGo HelloCam N930W Camera und NexiGo HelloCam N930W IR Camera. Wenn diese beiden Einträge dort fehlerfrei aufgelistet werden, ist die Kamera von Windows korrekt erkannt und installiert worden. Sie kann dann sofort benutzt werden. Ich verwende hauptsächlich MS Teams. Dort eingerichtet, liefert sie ein schönes Bild in leichter Weitwinkeloptik und einen guten Klang. Die Kamera besitzt keinen Zoom, das sollte aber anhand der Produktbeschreibung bewusst sein. Ein nettes Feature ist die automatische Freigabe der Kamera durch eine kleine Lamelle. Ein leichtes Klicken beim Öffnen zeugt von der Inbetriebnahme der Kamera beim Ansprechen. Zusätzlich leuchtet dann noch eine kleine grüne LED links vom Objektiv. Wenn die Kamera nicht im Betrieb ist, ist die Lamelle geschlossen und signalisiert in Rot die Privatphäre. Die LED ist dann ebenfalls erloschen.Nun zum Thema Windows Hello. Die Rezessionen, die nur einen Stern vergaben und die Kamera als untauglich wieder Retour schickten, kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Auf meinem Rechner funktionierte zu Beginn das Windows Hello auch nicht. Die Kamera wurde nach Installation und Reboot des Windows zwar als Hello kompatible Kamera erkannt, aber nach Einrichtung eines PIN (notwendig für die Gesichtserkennung) erschien kein Rahmen, in dem sich das Gesicht zum Erlernen befinden muss. Ich habe auch mehrfach erfolglos das Hello Feature entfernt und neuinstalliert - diese Tipps erhält man zu Hauf im Netz. Ich habe dann die Kamera an einen anderen Windows 10 PC angeschlossen und nach Installation und Neustart konnte ich dort die Hello Funktion aktivieren. Somit war klar, dass irgendeine Konfiguration im Windows des anderen PC für das Verhalten infrage kam und es nicht an der Kamera liegt. Lange Rede kurzer Sinn: Eine bislang nicht aufgespielte neue BIOS-Version des PC hat die Windows-Hello-Funktion auch auf diesen Rechner ermöglicht. Der Hinweis in der Anleitung und auf der Website, alle verfügbaren Updates (nicht nur vom Betriebssystem) aufzuspielen, ist extrem wichtig.Noch etwas: Wenn Windows Hello das Gesicht per Kamera scannt, blinkt der rote IR-Sensor rechts neben der Kameraoptik sehr schnell. Das ist kein Fehler (wie im Netz bei diversen Hello-Kameras geschrieben wird) sondern normal!Letzten Endes kann ich alle positiven Rezessionen nur bestätigen: Die Kamera ist ihr (kleines) Geld wert und bietet gute Qualität und Ausstattung, die sonst nur wesentlich teurere Kameras besitzen. Bleibt zu hoffen, dass die gute Verarbeitungsqualität auch lange Haltbarkeit verspricht.Fazit: Kaufempfehlung!

Privacy shutter and windows hello work perfectly

Bought this on a bit of an impulse to replace an elderly 720p webcam. Plugged in it in and it worked perfectly, set up Windows Hello and the recognition is instant, it gives a nice solid click the lens is open and the picture quality is good.I haven't used the microphone as a I prefer a headset.Build quality is solid and it sits on top of my canter monitor quite safely.
