Very nice piece of kit, super easy to setup and the inbuilt chime is loud. The integrated 16gb of storage is more than sufficient for us (for now), the option for additional storage is a very helpful feature and futures proofs it for us. Connecting the homebase to our network was quick and easy, using a single ethernet cable into the router but it also supports wireless connections.It also has an alarm function, so if you have some eufy entry or motion sensors, you can configure it to sound an alarm (i believe the cameras can also trigger this?).Very happy with this item!

Easy enough to set up, solid bit of kit, and works better than blink and ring together.. and best bit no monthly fee’s, I had a 2 TB drive spare and slotted that in so have plenty of storage and using with the eufy E340 door camera and a E30 camera

It's working well and was easy to set up with one of my SSD 500gb. Monitoring it's been a week and I am around 5gb with one camera so there's plenty of room. It was really easy to connect up, I have mine sat next to my hub, I did have to move up my plug extension to reach but it's on a shelf, about 5 ft from ground. The white casing though takes up discolouration easily, not that I'm bothered, it's functionality matters. All in all, I'm far more pleased with this for its simplicity.

Really simple to set up, plug in and setup similar to the cameras, took a few minutes including a software update. Purchased a cheap hard drive, plugged it in and it formatted it for usage. Cameras all switched to store using Homebase and hassle free so far. I have noticed a slight delay in viewing live feeds since purchasing, it sure if that’s coincidence or the Homebase is having an impact.Main reason for purchase was to get away from monthly subscriptions which it certainly is doing, roughly a 12month return to break even for equivalent plans I was looking at with alternate brands.

So, I picked up the Eufy Homebase 3, and at first, I wasn’t entirely sure why I needed it. After all, my doorbell, Indoor S350, and Solar S340 all have their own internal storage. But after using it, I see why it’s a great addition.First off, it’s more than just extra storage. The Homebase 3 comes with 16GB of internal storage, which is plenty for me. But what really makes it useful is the AI-powered processing—instead of your cameras doing all the work, the Homebase 3 handles the heavy lifting, making everything faster and more efficient. For example, my S350 uses less power because it doesn’t have to process everything itself, which helps with battery life.It also acts as a chime for your Eufy doorbell, though I haven’t set that up since I already have a separate chime. And if 16GB isn’t enough, you can expand it with a 2.5-inch SSD—up to a ridiculous 16TB! That’s an insane amount of storage for security footage. There’s even a USB slot to copy clips onto an external drive if needed.One important thing: store this somewhere out of sight. If someone breaks in and steals the Homebase 3 (and you’re not using cloud backup), then all your footage is gone. So, definitely tuck it away somewhere safe.Overall, if you’re in the Eufy ecosystem, this is a must-have. It centralizes your storage, makes your cameras more efficient, and just works brilliantly. Absolutely fantastic.
