I’ve found a product that says what it is on the tin.It does not clog your pores, this is very important for most of us or for people who suffer with acne. It hasn’t made me breakout. It makes your skin look shiny for about 10 minutes after applying it, then it is absorbed and your skin looks normal. It will last the whole day and you can feel the moisture that remains on your skin.It even works on lips prone to getting chapped. It’s not greasy, you may have to apply it again depending on the weather conditions or how your skin is as an individual during a day but mostly I’ve only had to use it once a day.Cons - very expensive so I’ll be looking to get it at a lower price. It won’t last for very long - I use more of it than most people so a tube would last 3 weeks max with daily use.Overall it has been a real game changer and my dermatologist said it’s the right product for me. I just need to find a larger tube! Thanks guys!
4.0 out of 5 stars Ehhh it’s okay, just not for me
Not a bad moisturiser, it soothes my rosacea and makes it less red but I suffer with really dry skin too especially in the winter and it’s just not hydrating enough for me. My skin absorbs it straight away. If you’re looking for a lightweight soothing moisturiser it’s a great option.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent moisturiser!
If you’re looking for a neutrogena hydrogel like product without the scent this is great alternative. A little goes a long way and absorbs nicely. I’ve quite sensitive skin and it’s helped with tretinion irritation. Decent price for a daily moisturiser.
5.0 out of 5 stars Lightweight and hydrating!
I have a broken skin barrier and this is perfect for adding and holding moisture in my skin! I used to use Aveeno gel but needed something heavier.
3.0 out of 5 stars Lightweight but leaves my skin dry
It’s a nice lightweight moisturiser however still leaves my skin feeling very dry
1.0 out of 5 stars Burns
This made my skin burn :/ have switched to avene barrier repair and its working better for my sensitive/acne prone skin
5.0 out of 5 stars Soothes rosacea symptoms
I have subtype 2 rosacea (diagnosed by an NHS dermatologist) and have struggled to find a moisturiser that is hydrating enough to soothe redness whilst at the same time being oil free and non-comedogenic. This product satisfies these criteria and is something of a miracle cream. All of my symptoms: redness, dryness, and blemishes have reduced since I started using this product. The consistency is somewhere between a serum and lotion. A small blob is enough for my whole face and neck. It takes about ten minutes to fully absorb after application and leaves no visible trace. After about an hour the reduction in redness is clear. Skin feels soft and natural all day.The ingredients are: Aqua, dicaprylyl ether, propanediol, caprylic/capric triglyceride, butylene glycol, squalane, phenoxyethanol, sodium polyacrylate, benzyl alcohol, dicaprylyl carbonate, carbomer, sodium hydroxide, xanthan gum, disodium EDTA, sodium lauroyl lactylate, sodium polyglutamate, polyglyceryl-3 caprate, sorbitan trioleate, ceramide np, ceramide ap, phytosphingosine, cholesterol, ethylhexylglycerin, myristoyl tripeptide-31, tocopherol, ceramide eop.I would recommend this product alongside Cetaphil's gentle cleanser, twice per day. I have also gotten good results from Dermatica's azelaic acid cream. Hope this review is helpful for other rosacea sufferers.
4.0 out of 5 stars Easily absorbed!
Doesn’t clog my clog prone skin. Super light weight, and absorbs super quickly. The only thing is… my skin does not feel as hydrated as I’d like it to… a bit too light
Lightweight and non-irritating
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } This is the perfect summer moisturizer. It dries down to a glowy finish but doesn’t feel suffocating or emollient (oily skin friendly!). It definitely isn’t heavy enough for the cold weather but my solution to that is to just wear a hydrating toner underneath.
Great sensitive skin moisturizer
I love this gentle moisturizer for my acne-prone skin. I have never had a breakout from this and I have yet to see any milia around my eyes, which I often get from heavier moisturizers. This leaves my skin feeling plumped and hydrated and I use it all around my eyes with no puffiness or redness appearing later. It contains ceramides and is vegan, cruelty free, and fragrance free. The packaging is even made from recycled material and the company is carbon neutral. Can’t go wrong with this one! The price is great too! Will continue to repurchase and I recommend it to anyone with sensitive skin.
I have dry, acne prone, sensitive skin.
Cost: I gave this product 4-stars because you pay $25 for a very tiny bottle (2.5 fl oz.). Tube feels full to the max which is nice, but I’d prefer an option to buy a much bigger tube as this would go fast if using AM and PM. I only use AM, but this still isn’t a tube that’s going to last very long for a dry skin gal.Other than the price, I love the product. This is a very clean product and very friendly for us acne prone (I have hormonal acne as well), dry skin, sensitive, red faced prone gals! I have tried soooo many lotions, creams, and gels, and I really feel hydrated and like the way my skin looks with this product. Currently I’m just using the lotion and haven’t started using the face wash yet, but am excited to see results with both products together since both hydrate the skin.Even with the price tag, I will continue to use because I feel clean, safe, and happy with the product. My skin is showing the benefits of the product for sure.
Like CeraVe, but nicer
Firstly, A little about me: i have very finicky skin and deal with rosacea and some breakouts. finding a moisturizer that is lightweight and nourishing is surprisingly hard. gel creams tend to do little, and creams feel stuffy and break me out. This is a perfect in-between. It does have that water cream feel to it, but it spreads well and has some oomph to it. i appreciate the very slight cooling sensation as well. no irritation, dryness, or additional redness here either. If you’re very dry, this probably wouldn’t be enough during fall or winter but other than that i could see this working well for most people. It’s a pretty big tube (2.5oz) for $25, so i’d say it’s similar in value to a $15 moisturizer that has 1.7oz. I’ve had it for about 1 1/2 months and barely made a dent in it. definitely worth it, i’d say. I’m interested enough to try the toner at some point too.
dry
my face was fine, Like i didn't get any reactions or anything it just didn't ever moisturize enough. I still felt dry.
