This Raye album is pure beauty. You feel like youre on a journey with Raye and the songs are clearly linked to eachother making the song running order comfortable to the ear and easy to understand. The quality of the cd is beautiful and it came really nicely packaged. I have to say that this is my favourite cd packaging so far that i have seen. This cd will take you through emotions that Raye portrays beautifully for "Ice-cream Man" to "Worth It" and many others. I cannot reccomend this cd/album enough.

I am a person who is advanced in years, but it doesn't stop me from learning about new artists.I had read about Raye and happened to see her on Jools Holland's Hootenanny. What a talent - echoes of Amy WInehouse and Marilyn Monroe (yes, that's who I thought of).The album is chock-full of wonderful tracks. She has a lot to say about a lot of different subjects. Listen to the lyrics - OK, some strong language - but, honestly, she is so smart, writing very directly and passionately about difficult subjects. In particular, Ice Cream Man is hard-hitting (pure genius), Environmental Anxiety is, too. She doesn't hold back. Add to that, there are some very humourous moments, too.Her singing is fabulous, the musicianship and production top class and the result is an album of absolute wonder.

Raye's music is amazing. I've been listening to her music for years. She's such a talented songwriter and singer who had written brilliant music for other singers; you can hear her heart and soul in the songs she writes and sings. I'm so glad that she is finally getting the recognition she's deserved for so long.

I was lying down listening to the voice on TV when there was this phenomenal singer with power,range and delicacy too. I had to find out who it was and when I did I bought the Album. It's got some great tracks on it and is a complete Album like I used to buy 40 yrs ago. Well done girl. And if you get the opportunity get a recording of her concert at the Albert Hall, I haven't see an artist who is actually better in concert then the studio!

This is the first album in a long time that i've been able to listen to without skipping. I love songs that mean something and Raye has written songs that tell stories, express feelings and take on a journey with her. This isn't manufactured Pop! It's real music that is current but also timeless and can grab the ear of just about anyone.Raye's voice is so good to listen to. She can actually sing and uses her voice as an instrument. Something that is lost amongst the majority of her peers.You won't regret buying this album. My 21st Century Blues is FANTASTIC!

Die Lieferung hat zwar etwas längergedauer,das warten hat sich ausgezahlt.Eine ganz tolle Sängering,hat mich gleich begeistert.Schon das Cover ist passen und macht mich neugierig.Der Klang der Vinyl Platte ist sehr gut.Sie läuft ruhig ohne Fehler am Platten=spieler.Würde sie empfehlen,weiter so!
