Wow, you don’t think your filter is that bad until you get a new one! I’ve been putting buying a new one off longer than I’d like to admit. Fits perfectly my Conopu air filter. In terms of whether it’s actually working… one would assume so!

As an autistic adult who has sensory overload to day to day smells this has been a god send. Totally removes smells in my flat of all kinds and it’s helped me massively! Even when someone smokes in my flat I can’t smell it now. I leave on 24 hours a day and I’ve had them last from 3 to 5 months per filter!
