This is a great little tool.Put off grabbing one for a while. Sounded cool but I thought it was just something for low effort peoples to speed run some sense of accomplishment.In the end grabbed one to have one, before they got banned or something silly.Seeing the gpio pins clinched it as figured at worst it was an overpriced usb to uart bridge, that I could flash a couple led's with.Searched for some vids before it arrived, and read a bunch of complaints about how it couldn't open cars or wouldn't pick up a dogs tag. I saw some positive comments but nothing that really communicated the full potential.Finally got the thing and pretty instantly grew to love it.Would have been amazing to have this as a young teen, aside from being a cool educational tool that encourages you to explore outside your interests just to see the lil dolphin get a bit more experience.Way beyond that, it is a legitimate swiss army knife for some hardware hacking, in the classical sense.The number of uncased AVRdudes or old serial cables lying about, flipper can do it all. AVR flasher, ESP32 programmer, SWD debugger, I2C bus scanner.If there's not "an app for that", you can write your own, give it some nice graphics that are integrated with the overall aesthetic and build against whichever firmware you are using.The support for that is fleshed out, full of examples, with a healthy dev community.It's not brain dead it is C (headers are defined for easy compilation with C++), but there is a lot of support for people learning.- Look for Derek Jamison, on youtube (has a bunch of dev tutorials for fz)Dev experience is smooth, with a python tool for target building only your app, generating a `.fap` that you are then able to simply drag and drop onto the sd card to instantly see on your flipper.In this way it acts as a microcontroller that can save your gpio experiments to be easily replayed later without reflashing.There are some pretty high effort apps made by the community. With official devs and friends putting out things like the AVR flasher, which you can download from the flipper "app store" or from github and build.Didn't get any expansion boards when I purchased, and stuck with the official firmware (or modifying the official firmware) just to really explore what it could do in stock form.But it is worth mentioning that like with the dev community there are builders making physical expansion cartridges.There's a bunch of unofficial firmware's, some are just compilations of community apps and data dumps, but others lift limitations to free the hardware.It's one of those one's that you can really go down a rabbit hole with. This is a tool like Vim is a tool.

Wunderschönes ausgearbeitetes ESP32 Konzept!

Ich würde auch 20 Sterne vergeben wenn es Sie geben würde.Warum? Nun das ist das erste Konzept das richtig fun macht und wo man leicht den Einstieg findet in die Hülle & Fülle an Arduino, Raspberry Pi's, Sensoren, Funk, GPIO ect.. kurz gesagt es hat eine große Community die zeigt was Möglich ist, und es sehr viele Beispiele an Projekten gibt. Zugegeben ist das mit den "Hacking" mehr Marketing als das man da großartig Schaden anrichten könnte (geht natürlich), aber es ist nicht so das man sich das Teil kauft und damit rennst Du fort an durch offene Türen, dass ist so nicht der Fall! Es ersetzt das Wissen der Materie nicht, aber man findet wie schon erwähnt "endlich" den leichteren Einstieg, da man gleich den Usecase mitgeliefert bekommt. Das Gerät macht optisch echt was her und ist auch noch Handlich. Ich habe schon mal sowas gesehen und ich wollte auch damals schon loslegen, aber ich musste feststellen das der Einstieg schon eine Hürde ist die man überwinden musste und so wurde ich zum Arduino, Raspi, ect.. zurückgeworfen und musste erstmal von Vorne anfangen. Da es vom anderen Projekt (WiPhone) kein Marketing Konzept gab oder teils schlecht umgesetzt was weis ich, die Community war sehr sehr klein, aber auch ein schönes Gerät, dennoch wussten die Meisten nicht so recht was anzufangen mit so ein Teil und fragten ständig nach einem Simslot da es aussah wie ein altes Handy aus den 90ger, sprich die Leute die das sahen hatten "das Thema falsch verstanden". Das hat Flipper nicht nur sehr gut gemeistert, sondern sie sind auch Platz eins der besten Gadgets 2023. Zurecht! Sie kamen mit dem Thema "Hacking" (was sehr witzig ist da man den Russen immer das Hacken nachsagt könnte man schon meinen diese Illusion sei ausgenutzt & Marketingtechnisch perfekt platziert worden :D ), es gibt ein Haustier (Delfin) das man Leveln kann durch Nutzung des Gerätes mit den Haufen an Sensoren, die im Übrigen Alle schon mit Testfunktionen & netten Spielereien mitgeliefert werden, tolles Design mit dem Orange, gefällt mir persönlich sehr gut, und das wichtigste fette Community! Es gibt inzwischen schon mehrere Systeme die man flashen kann, und es gibt haufenweise Lernmaterial wie man Software oder Systeme bastelt und die Sensoren erklären und wie man sie ansteuert und programmiert.Der Akku hält übrigens ein Monat, weis leider nicht wie viel Tage, hängt aber natürlich auch von der Nutzung ab.Mein Anliegen zu dem Thema ist das Lernen mit Elektronik, Robotic, Smart Home ect.. der deutsche Raum hinkt hier echt etwas hinterher, wenn man sich China zum Vergleich zieht, die sogar Meisterschaften machen mit selbstgebauten Robotern die Bälle schießen ect.., finde ich das echt eine Bereicherung von den Russen das man so interessante Konzepte zu Uns bringt um das Lernen dieser Materie spannender zu machen. Bei Uns sind diese Themen eine richtige Einöde geworden wie zB.: "Starter Set mit irgendwelchen Einplatinen mit Chip weis der Geier was" , das wird nicht reichen um vor Allem junge Menschen für diese Themen zu begeistern.. aber lassen Wir das sonst schweife ich noch ab :DDer Nachtteil sehe ich klar beim Preis. Auf der Homepage kostet der Flipper ca.180€ aber das ist auch ok da der Flipper sehr sehr kreativ umgesetzt wurde. Da taten mir die 260€ im Vergleich auf Bolo schon etwas aua.. noch dazu das man das WLAN Board auch noch braucht wenn man es unbedingt haben möchte was auch Sinn macht. (GIbt auch günstigere Nachbauten von verschiedenen DevBoards). Wenn einem das Thema begeistert, dann stört der Preis nicht so. Und immer dran denken man kauft im Gegensatz zu Vergleichbaren (wenn man sowas in der Art bei Uns überhaupt was findet) auch eine fette Community und haufenweise open Source Code mit und das gibts im Preis inklusive was echt viel Wert ist.Ich feiere das Teil , einfach Top umgesetzt !!!klare 5 SterneNachtrag: Verbaut ist ein STM Chip, kein ESP32. Der ESP32 findet sich auf dem DevBoard wieder.
