This is a great smartphone holder if you want to use a tripod or just hand-hold your phone camera, and with plenty of cold-show mounting options for things like lights, microphones and wireless receivers. The threads at the sides means you can mount it in either portrait or landscape orientation as well which is good - and the locking adjuster means your phone is nice and secure.

My new iPhone 14 Pro Max has a video camera so good that it is hard to justify carrying my semi pro video kit around. Especially with the new anti shake feature on the phone. The only snag being that the phone is great for stills but I find it awkward to hold for steady video while still being able to view the screen clearly. This frame is the answer.Just drop the phone on the spring loaded clamp, pull it tight, turn on the phone and go. You now have two nice big comfortable handles so the result is steady video and no part of the screen is obscured by the users hands. Also now possible to use the various standard 1/4 inch threads and slots to mount lights and mics. If you need to use a operate battery just cable tie it to the frame.Not quite perfect though. It really is a lot bigger than it needs to be. Phones don't come a lot bigger than the Pro Max but it is lost in the frame. I have XL hands but the grips could be a lot smaller. one result of the size is that the hands are a long way from the phone screen and it is necessary to reach the screen to start and stop recording and use the zoom control. I have found some video apps that allow one sliding finger to control zoom which is easier than the pinch system used by Apple and shooting to edit does mean I can cut wobbly starts but struggle with a smooth zoom.The only reason to drop a star is the size. Compared with some of the competing frames it is basic plastic but it works perfectly and at the price is a good introduction into using a phone for for some decent video.

I film a lot of different stuff for my YouTube channel, and I'm increasingly using my phone to film stuff rather than my bigger camera. I noticed though that when I filmed stuff like baptisms in my church, my footage was slightly shaky. This is because a mobile phone is quite light, so hard to hold steady for long periods of time. And also because I'm on antipsychotic medication my hands slightly shakes sometimes because of tremors. This is the reason I bought this simple camera stabilizer. It is cheap and lightweight, but good quality and it really makes it smoother and easier to film with a mobile phone, reducing the shaking.

Bought this for some around the house/yard video with my phone. Was a bit skeptical at first, but when I started using it, I've been really impressed with it. I can use my iPhone 15 pro max with a case still on it and it holds it just fine. Plenty of spaces for add-ons with 1/4" screw mounts or cold shoe mounts. Grips are very comfortable to hold, smooth with no unfinished edges. It's super light weight, but yet very sturdy, no worried about stuff damaging the case (within practical loading). I enjoy how I can almost mimic a gimbal with it since I can use a two hand grip. Allows you to shoot great video quality. Overall I'd highly recommend this for anyone with a smart phone wanting to get a little upgrade without having to dive into an expensive gimbal. Factor in the addon abilities with this and it's a fantastic deal.

Habe auch cages die fünfmal so teuer sind, aber dieser besticht durch seine Schlichtheit. Phone rein und los.Hätte mir die teuren Dinger sparen können.Für Filter braucht’s ne Klemme, ok. Licht und/oder Mikro auf die Schuhe. Passt.Und. Ein bisschen basteln macht ja auch Spaß. Bei dem Preis machste nix falsch.
Surprisingly sturdy & lots of mounting options, great design
This thing works great for those of us with larger phones which we all know have the best cameras, it's an excellent fit for my iPhone 13 Pro Max. And yes, that is also with a case on! It could easily fit any of the largest phones out there, or perhaps a small to medium sized tablet. It's impressive how much room it offers yet still feels good in your hands.I have mine set up with a hot-shoe mic and a lightning pin extension cable that leads to another mic receiver, for use with YouTube videos mostly. It features 5 1/4" mounts and 5 hot-shoe mounts. The clamp also locks to keep your media device secure, with rubber padding inside the jaws, with grooves cut for the hold or volume buttons. It's very well designed!Still can't believe how sturdy it is for what it is, you have to try in order to twist it. When you put it on a tripod, its big enough that you can use a 6" bubble level to be bang-on! I like this thing, and it came with a pair of reusable tie straps, perfect for those mic cables or that lightning pin extension!Would for sure recommend to others, looking for an affordable option to stabilize their touch device videos. between tripod mounting and the extra hot shoe grooves, it is awesome!
