Grits are really just the best comfort food! These cook so beautifully and just add some butter and grated cheese for a tasty meal. I cook them in water to which I’ve added some vegetable stock which really makes them irresistible. Sometimes I also top them with cooked mushrooms for a great veggie breakfast. They are so versatile and good value. Very happy with them!

I didn't read the listing properly and thought I was purchasing one 500g bag but it was actually ten 500g bags making it around £0.65 per bag! Some people said they were nothing like American grits but I'm American and spent the majority of my life in Florida. These taste just like the grits I know and love. The only thing I can think as to why others may have not enjoyed this is possibly that they weren't cooked properly. Grits take a lot more water than you might expect. I also always cook my grits on the strovetop for the best results and it also takes a lot longer than you might expect letting this come to a boil then simmer. I probably cooked these for around 10 minutes, give or take ensuring you've properly salted. Serve with butter or some cheese if you're feeling extra and they are perfect.

Great tasting. Easy to fix. Highly recommend.But...Make sure you want 10 packages of grits before you buy! My wife thought she'd surprise me when Alexa suggested them, not realising there were a lot of grits. Got enough to feed an army.But they really are good and I'll go thru them.

Horrible , cost's an arm a leg and a Kidney to cook, then it tastes like wallpaper paste. Mixed in with Bird Seed and Lard in a Coconut shell the Spuggie's love it , not a bad price for Bird Food , cheaper than Peanut's for sure

Why did you choose this product over others?:Took a chance and glad I did! These are Southern, American Grits which I’ve been missing for 21 years. Sadly, it had no preparation or cooking instructions so this is mine, which turned out perfectly.1 part grits to 4 parts salted water & 1/4c milk. Bring to a boil, turn down heat and cook till thickened, stirring constantly. When done, butter and pepper to taste. YUMMY!For sweetened, substitute sugar for salt and delete pepper or just add honey at the end. (My measurements were 100ml grits/400 ml water…made a small saucepan 3/4 full)Taste:Wonderful!
