Car battery went dead and started the car no issues. Had to stop on way to garage and unit started me again with 2 lights still showing as a charge level. Handy to keep in the boot to get you out of those surprise moments when your car surprises you with a flat battery.Why did you choose this product over others?:Compact and has already proven itself.Battery life:Can't fault this item started my car twice and still had some life left. Charging capability:Easy to charge and holds it's charge well. Says to charge every month to keep it topped up but.kust say forget about this and a few.months on it doesn't seem to have dropped any battery life. Car start:Started my car twice without needing to be charged Well worth the money for that reassurance should you need it and stall your car it will get you up and running again. Build quality:Well built solid unit, clear instructions and good quality clips for the battery connections. Compactness:Small but powerful. After having to work away from home for over 2 months. My car was left unused and its battery had drained. This jump starter saved me when I returned, to my surprise it arrived the next day to a click and collect counter. And the jump starter was already charged up to 75% out the box. To be on the safe side I plugged it in and it was 100% charged in less than an hour. The instructions had a handy guide that tells you the red lead goes to the + terminal and the black lead goes to the - terminal. Apparently the jump starter would automatically detect if the crocodile clips were placed the wrong way around but I didn’t test this. After a few seconds my car engine miraculously started. For its cheap price I really can’t complain, having done its job it is excellent value for money compared to other jumpstarters that are 2 or 3 times the price. It’s a compact size, about the size of a large USB powerbank (which it technically is) and would fit in a glovebox of side storage in the boot or door pocket. My only slight criticism is the cables are a bit short but it still did the job resting it on the engine cover and it took me a minute to find the boost button on the side of the crocodile clips.

Good piece of equipment,, very handy for jump starting instead of bulky leads. Small and lightweight but packs a punch. I have used it half a dozen times to start vehicles with a dead battery but I found I had to charge it after every use as there wasn't enough power for the next vehicle, however the vehicles I was using it on where completely flat. It's also well made and quite sturdy.

I noticed this product is much cheaper than equivalent products that do the same thing.Context of why I bought it:My son had a car delivered it hadn't been driven for two months. Dead of winter. The battery was dead. Not so much as a noise when turning the key.I mulled over calling the garage out but decided having one of these might be useful going forward.It arrived charged. I put a few more volts in and connected it up.Car turned over first time. Thing pretty much paid for itself right there and then.Because I never took the car for a long drive battery died again overnight.Same thing next day. Dead battery but using this it turned over first time.It now lives in the glove box and I get real peace of mind from that. My son is only young.Bonus functions - torch, usb and usbc charging capability.So, from my limited use it’s been a superb investment.Details.Car I used it on, only a little 1.0 litre engine ( so tiny).Use was almost out of the box so can’t comment on how well it holds a charge over time, for example if it was left in the boot.Great bit of kit. My experience has been nothing but positive ( battery joke in there somewhere..).

J'avais une crainte pour pouvoir trouver un endroit pour mettre la masse car le câble est très court et sur ce modèle de 308, la masse de la batterie n'est pas accessible (seulement le plus), mais impeccable, j'ai pu trouver vers le capot de quoi mettre la pince noire sur la carrosserie pour faire masse.Et démarrage du premier coup 👍

I got it to help jumpstart my VW PASSAT V6 as the battery was completely drained while the car was parked for ~ 2 months. The unit was at 50% battery when received. The manual is great, simple and straight forward. I followed the instructions in the manual. It took approx. 1 hour to charge it via my phone's USB-C fast charger up to 100%. It took 2 attempts to start the car. The 2nd attempt was because I didn't wait the 30 seconds as per the manual's instruction in handling completely drained batteries in my 1st attempt. On the 2nd attempt, I followed the instructions for completely drained batteries and the car started smoothly. Both attempts used ~25% of the booster battery capacity. Over all, the package is great in size and weight. I like the idea it came with a small bag to house the booster and cables. The booster uses USB-C for charging. No more jump start cable hassle and no more waiting forever for insurance recovery.

Das Gerät ist einfach genial und macht genau das, was es soll, nämlich Starthilfe bei entladener Batterie geben. Wer hier negativ bewertet, der hat irgendwas falsch gemacht.Die Verpackung ist sehr edel, das Gerät auch, alles hochwertig und optisch ansprechend.Mein Mercedes A180 1,6 Liter startete nach 4 Monaten Standzeit und Überwinterung nicht mehr. Die Batterie hatte nur noch ca. 10,5 V statt 12 V. Also bestellte ich mir dieses Gerät hier. Es wurde sogar mit 100 % Akkufüllstand geliefert. Ich habe es gemäß Anleitung direkt an die beiden Batteriepole angeschlossen. Nach ein paar Sekunden erkennt das Gerät dann, dass es an eine KFZ Batterie angeschlossen wurde und die Connect LED leuchtet grün. Erst dann gibt es 12 V aus. Ich habe zur Sicherheit noch den Boost Knopf gedrückt. Man muss ihn kurz gedrückt halten, dann klackt es und dann kann man los legen. Da die Connect LED aber nicht grün blinkte, sondern grün leuchtete, war die Batterie nicht Tiefentladen und der Boost Modus wäre nicht unbedingt notwendig gewesen. Aber ich dachte mir viel hilft viel :DDanach habe ich die Zündung angemacht und das Fahrzeug startete sofort ganz normal ohne jegliche Verzögerung :) Anschließend hatte die AstroAI noch 75 % Akkufüllstand wie auf meinem Bild zu sehen ist. Ich gehe also davon aus, dass man mind. 4x Starthilfe mit Boost Funktion geben kann, ohne Boost wahrscheinlich öfters. Das aufladen mittels USB-C und meinem Smartphone Schnell-Ladeadapter ging auch recht zügig. Ich lade es jetzt immer voll und lege es dann für die nächste Panne in den Kofferraum. Da ich bald wieder in den Urlaub fliege und mein Auto dann am Flughafen stehen lasse, fühle ich mich jetzt mit der Starthilfe im Kofferraum auch deutlich sicherer.Fazit: Ich bin absolut zufrieden und konnte mir so den Batterieausbau zum externen laden sparen und das alles für nur 35 €, echt top :)
