  • High strength nylon carbon fibre: IEMAI PA12 CF filament is a high temperature resistant carbon fibre reinforced nylon material that has been specially developed for applications that require high strength, stiffness and high temperature resistance. PA12 CF nylon filament improves interlayer bonding, provides high dimensional stability and maintains excellent mechanical properties even in wet conditions.
  • Excellent mechanical performance: PA12 CF adopts an advanced formula made of long-chain nylon PA12 and short-cut carbon fibre, which has excellent mechanical properties. Our intelligent fibre reinforcement technology ensures optimal dispersion and distribution of carbon fibres during the extrusion process and forms a network skeleton structure that can withstand most stresses of the material matrix, improving the mechanical properties, heat resistance and dimensional stability.
  • Low water absorption: PA12-CF has low water sensitivity, with a saturation absorption rate of only 0.88%, much lower than the 1.89% conventional PA12-CF. This solves the problem of properties and stability caused by moisture absorption. It also has a thermal deformation temperature of 194°C, so printed parts can withstand high temperatures without deformation or loss of strength.

  • Pressure suggestions: PA12-CF has a strong abrasion and can quickly wear and block 0.4 mm brass nozzles. It is strongly recommended to use hardened steel or ruby nozzles with a larger diameter (0.6 mm or larger) and wear resistance and keep the nozzles clean between few prints. To achieve better smoothness and layer adhesion, we also recommend drying them before printing. Printing temperature: 260 °C - 290 °C, bed temperature: 90 °C - 110 °C, print speed: 40 - 60 mm/s.
