It's premium quality at a fraction of the cost. I would recommend this tool to anyone, professional technicians and DIYers alike.First of all it comes in a tough carry case withplenty of leads and connectors. The scanner itself isn't too big and has a comfy feel in the hand. Once you're ready to use it, it'll take a couple of minutes to set the date, language etc. It allows you to set up to a WiFi connection and you can also add business details so you can share the reports with your customers via email.Well packaged, strong storage case.Easy to use, professional high level quality data and options.Automatically finds the vin code amd vehicle, really easy to update.Does all the features of my old machine that was twice the price when bought originally. Covers a huge amount of vehicles and has extra leads for models that are not OBD compatible. I was a little unsure when buying as they are fairly new to this huge market but I’m so pleased I did as it does everything they say it will and more.

Topdon Artidiag EU!!Having owned and worked on a lot of European cars, this was just the ideal piece of equipment I needed. With it being biased towards these cars makes it really easy to quickly interrogate any issues that occur. Also with the built in ability to control components bi-directionally, unusual issues can be defined quite easily. The coding function is very useful as well. As it makes life simple to personalise yours and customers vehicles, to suit all needs. Comes with clear instructions in a very nice case, and is small and easy to carry around for those “just in case” moments! Highly recommended, Topdon has become my go to equipment! Battery life appears to be very good, and charges when plugged into a vehicle.

I took along time looking at various models of obd2 machines.I decided to look in detail at topdon and glad I did.Firstly 2 yrs of updates included, was impressed by that.Pro'sEasy to navigateExcellent screen sizeStand on rear of deviceRubber grips and sturdy protection surround.Easy connectivity to your phone wifi or house wifi.Pre set functions for resets.Vin finder to quick connect.Sturdy case and cable lock box, comes with attachments.ConsRestricted length of cable.Screw in cableNeither of these are really concerns just restricted movement.I've been able to do several jobs on various vehicles with ease.The price paid reflects value in my opinion and I have no concerns with this in general.A happy purchase.

Nice bit of kit! Plug it in, auto vin detection so no searching around to get the right vehicle. Health scan automatically goes through the installed modules. You can get a QR code and look at at the results from your phone after, share the link to diagnosis to your customer for a nice layer of transparency.If your a home mechanic the Topdon range is ideal, lower cost and full of functionality. This won’t be my last item from them, and is a fine addition to your toolbox!

So i brought this machine to do some programming and diagnostics on 4 cars. Out of the box it looks very sturdy and once its turned on and the many, many, many updates downloaded and installed it boasts lots of features and functions and the car list is endless. This unfortunatly is where it starts to be a let down.The first car was a VW scirroco, not a rare car by any means but the required job which was a DPF regen didnt work. All I got was "function not supported" infact all of the "special functions" came up with same message. The worst thing was that you have to go through several options and it will take you right to the last step before saying "NO".Second car was a Ford Smax which requires Window Learn, a simple task that you can do maunally by holding down a the window button in a certain order. But this machine couldnt do that either and the common "Function not supported" shows its ugly head again. Also tried to program a Start/Stop battery which was met with the same serror message.Third car was a Ford Focus, which just required a scan and diagnosis which was simple enough and it done it like any other diagnostic toolFinal car was a Vauxhall insignia that needed a steering angle sensor reset and relearn. There were no error codes present before the programming because the sensor was damaged whilst taking the steering wheel off so the battery was dissconnected. After the very quick programming i had a list of fault codes as long as my arm which werent there before hand. There was a message that popped up after the calibration that said i will need to do a full DTC scan afterwards and clear the codes. I didnt quite understand why the procedure would cause fault codes on sensors and modules that have nothing to do with the steering angle sensor or steering in general?All in all its very dissapointing and very limited. The cars i used it on were very popular cars and between 7 and 10 years old. I have done the same procedures using a diagnostic tool a quarter of the price. Its basicly an outdated Andriod tablet with 2GB of ram so it pretty slow and the netwrok connection drops out frequantly. The live help didnt work even though i tried to connect for over an hour. The ODB cable is quite short and if like the Ford smax the ODB port is down low you feel youself leaning towards the port so not to rip it out.The live data worked as it should but so does my other diagnostic machines including andriod apps on my phone. The free 2 year subscription is a bit of a joke as it will cost almost the same every year for the subscription when it expires.I brought this after seeing an advert online and some demo's on what it can do, unfotunatly the demo was obviously used on car makes that the tool can do everything on. Their website is quite misleading!Ive used all kinds of diagnostic tools in the past which do the same and more than this car and a lot quicker. Everything seems to be so long winded, even the auto VIN takes ages and sounds like an arcade machine. Talking of the auto VIN, when you come out of a menu it automaticly reverts back to the DTC scan and you have to keep stopping it and exit every single timeIts nothing special at all and didnt do what their website and adverts say. I did wonder why there wasnt many YouTube videos about this device

Einfacher Diagnosegerät für europäische Marken

Ich habe mir das TOPDON ArtiDiag EU gekauft, weil ich ein zuverlässiges, aber einfach zu bedienendes Diagnosegerät für meinen Skoda Rapid (Baujahr 2018) gesucht habe. Ich bin ehrlich gesagt kein Profi, wenn es um Autos oder Technik geht, und genau deshalb wollte ich ein Gerät, das nicht zu kompliziert ist – und das TOPDON hat mich nicht enttäuscht.Schon beim ersten Ausprobieren war ich positiv überrascht, wie schnell es die Fehler ausliest. Man schließt es einfach an, und nach wenigen Sekunden zeigt es an, wo es Probleme geben könnte. Es erklärt die Fehler recht verständlich, sodass ich mir vieles selbst zusammenreimen konnte, ohne erst Stundenlang das Handbuch wälzen zu müssen oder nach jeder Kleinigkeit zu googeln. Es ist sehr intuitiv zu bedienenWas mir besonders gefällt, ist, dass das Gerät auf europäische Fahrzeugmarken spezialisiert ist. Für Skoda, aber auch für Marken wie VW, Audi oder Mercedes funktioniert es hervorragend. Andere Marken lassen sich leider nicht auslesen.Ich mag es auch, dass die Echtzeit-Daten grafisch dargestellt werden, was mir geholfen hat, bestimmte Werte besser nachzuvollziehen. Für meinen Skoda Rapid hat es mir schon ein paar Mal geholfen, kleinere Fehler zu erkennen, bevor sie zu größeren Problemen wurden, wie zum Beispiel Sensorwarnungen, die ich dann gleich beheben konnte.Es kommt mit dem nötigsten Zubehör und USB Ladegerät.Regelmäßige Software-Updates sorgen dafür, dass das Gerät auch bei neuen Fahrzeugen und Modellen funktioniert – ein Punkt, der mir sehr wichtig ist, weil ich so sicher sein kann, dass ich es noch lange nutzen kann. Zugegeben, es ist vielleicht nicht das billigste Gerät, aber für den Preis bekommt man etwas wirklich Solides und Praktisches.Ich würde das TOPDON ArtiDiag EU jedem empfehlen, der ein Auto der europäischen Marken fährt und ein einfaches, aber zuverlässiges Diagnosegerät sucht. Für mich war es eine Investition, die sich definitiv gelohnt hat, und es hat mir einige Werkstattbesuche erspard

Retour d'expérience après 3semaines, ou j'avais 3 véhicule à gérer, 2 française de 2004 et une allemande de 2020J'ai acheté l'ARTI DIAG EU suite a une recommandation du site suite a mes multiples recherches et franchement je dois dire qu'il est tout simplement génial. Il est vraiment très pointu pour toutes les marques écrit sur le site, c'est vraiment outil indispensable pour les bricoleurs de véhicule, pour le prix je suis pas déçu du tout, j'avais un petit OBD un poil moins cher et il faisait absolument pas tout ça, j'avais juste la possibilité de rentre dans le calculateur principal pour lire les défauts, mais rien de folichon, j'avais un défaut "injection a contrôler" mais impossible de trouver la cause avec l'autre, avec l'arti diag j'ai en fait pu voir que le défaut injection englobe les bougies et au final c'était juste un défaut là dessus... Pour le coup c'est vraiment une valise génial, sur mon allemande, je peux vraiment lire absolument tout les calculateurs, lire le kilométrage du véhicule et l'essence consommé (ça permet de voir si la voiture a eu une arnaque au kilométrage) en plus de pouvoir lire tout l'électronique etc...Pour ma part, je possède une Mercedes dernière génération et cet appareil a réussi à accéder à tous les calculateurs de la voiture, me permettant de faire des vérifications et des ajustements des paramètres internes.Si vous cherchez un appareil qui offre une large gamme de fonctionnalités et qui est capable de s'adapter à différents modèles, je vous recommande vivement l'ARTI DIAG EU
