I got this cigarette lighter adapter to try as I needed a better way of having my 12v cooler box plugged in, now I can have my 12v cooler box at the rear of my dog rescue van/camper out of the way. So, no more tripping over cables with me not having to run cables down the van walkway, making it tidier and safter for me to store any rescue dog’s medication during transport.So far, the adaptor seems to be doing its job really well, without any overheating and the current seems to being fine. This device is simple and easy to use, allowing you to convert your 12V car socket to a USB power adapter. It works perfectly, and the red light indicator lets you know when it's powered. Overall, it's faultless.
