This is a big set, all those bags do look daunting at first, but the instructions do brake the build down to one /two bags at a time. I'm not a big Lord of the Rings collector. I bought this as it's an impressive set in its own right. It looks stunning as a stand alone piece. Made in three sections, a few bits were fiddley, the build was enjoyable. It has a few sections that are repetitive ( fixing all the roof and floor titles) but it's worth it for the finnished product. Overall the build isn't too complicated. Some of the instructions in the manual are difficult to see against the grey page. The high cost isn't great but it was reduced in price when I got this so it was a little more affordable. This is definitely a set I'd recommend regardless of if you are a the Lord of the Rings theme. The details are amazing and It's a well thought out set.

I have had my eye on this Lego Rivendell set since it launched to rave reviews .I waited though for a deal and a recent great one here was enough to get me to bite.I believe this one is going to be very collectable and sure to have been scrabbling for it once no longer made.The set itself is over 60000 bricks. This amounts to a good price per brick now , especially discounted.I'm only now embarking on the build. 49 bags over 3 instruction manuals and will be taking my time to truly savour it.The set looks fantastic, an absolute masterclass in how good Lego can look and will be the new centerpiece on my living room display shelf.

This is one of the best Lego sets I've ever attempted and although I have not quite finished it yet, I can say that it is going to be absolutely stunning once complete. There are some challenging elements and repeated processes - getting those roof tiles lined up and neat can be frustrating! It was a big spend and one I had put off for some time but I couldn't refuse the Spring deal again. The set is big though and probably is value for money, just! If you have the money and love LOTR and Lego then this is definitely worth a purchase.

Incredible build by Lego. I've built a fair few Lego sets, largely star wars themed but this lord of the rings set is another level of special.The colours are incredible.I love the films, have watched them many times.It is great to have a Lego model of Rivendell now. So many Lego mini figs with the set. It must be one of the highest figure to price ratio Lego sets of recent times.There are different areas to recreate famous scenes with lots off functionality.No missing parts for me but from experience, it's easy to resolve this with Lego if you come across missing parts.Highly recommend.

I love this Lego set it is my fav so far, so much detail in it and clever use of parts to make details like arches etc. lots of characters included and I bought it on sale in a prime deal so even better!

I have had my eye on this set for a long time and finally decided to go for it during a sale.I'm sure it goes without saying, but this is definitely one for the adults, or possibly older kids with some adult supervision. There's quite a bit of building involved but it will keep any buyer busy for a while.It looks phenomenal on display but make sure to set some space aside for it, ideally away from pets who might decide it looks better on the floor!As I said I bought it on sale so saving a few pounds off the full price definitely helped make it good value, the amount of time spent building it and the finished article are all worth the price in my opinion.I had a bit of a laugh when I first opened the box and looked at the sheer scale of the build, there were about 90 bags of pieces and the instruction books were bigger than the manual for my car! There were no missing parts and a few extra bricks left over at the end.Overall, the build was enjoyable, the instructions very clear, the bricks for each section sorted into easy to manage bags. Money well spent for a long time Lord of the Rings fan.

I absolutely love this set. It’s so detailed. It has so many scenes from the movie in it. It was enjoyable to build. I got it on offer so got some money off and it was 5 payments too. It is definitely a considered purchase but that made it easier. If your a Lego fan you’ll love it but also if you’re a fan of the Films then you’ll also love it.

Estéticamente es una preciosidad y está lleno de referencias a las películas de LOTR que mientras lo vas montando te hacen esbozar una sonrisa. Este set está pensado para exponerlo y es de gran tamaño pero merece la pena aclarar que la profundidad realmente es de menos de 40cm y no de 50cm como dice la descripción. Las instrucciones de montaje son claras y el tiempo total oscila entre las 15 o 20 horas. Pocas pegas se le pueden poner a este set que roza la perfección, en cualquier caso es un set de 500 €, no es barato, pero por el número de piezas vale mucho la pena, aunque hubiese estado mejor un precio rondando los 400 € . Referente a las figuras está representada toda la comunidad del anillo y algunas personajes más. Hubiese agradecido que se incluyeran figuras de Gollum y Galadriel, pero esto es una opinión personal. en definitiva, una obra maestra de Lego, que si te puedes permitir, debes añadir a tu colección.

Für einen Lego und HdR Fan absolutes must have. Der Zusammenbau hat schon viel Spaß gemacht und es hat einen Ehrenplatz in meinem Arbeitszimmer. Definitiv eines der guten Sets welches Lego rausgebrachte. Wer das nötige Geld hierfür hat, klare Kaufempfehlung.

Unbelievable set. Worth it!
It is expensive, but it is also huge, and has so many details that you won't regret after all. So many minifigures, so many unique places/rooms. You can set characters in many scenes, it looks awesome on the shelf.Strongly recomended.

I absolutely love this set. It’s so detailed. It has so many scenes from the movie in it. It was enjoyable to build. I got it on offer so got some money off and it was 5 payments too.
