A good replacemant for the original Humax remote control. All buttons work.Build quality is OK, but thinner plastic. The Central Navigate and OK buttons are slightly off centre.

I've buying these replacement remote controls so that my Mum can keep using her ancient Humax recorder which she's had for years. This remote control lasted 11 months before it packed up (the batteries last longer than the handset!)

This is excellent!! Works my Humax recording box!! Just had to put batteries in it!. Nothing else no numbers had to be put in!! As it does give you numbers in case it doesn’t work!! Excellent value! Nothing bad to say!.

I give this remote control 4 stars because at first I didn't think it controlled anything except the volume and mute button. It took a while to work out that buttons on the right side of my old Humax remote control were now placed on the left side, and things I had been familiar with on the left side were now on the right side so a bit confusing at first but finally I worked out, what was where. This may be because I have an older Humax box and this control may well work perfectly with new Humax products. I also noticed that a couple of the buttons stayed stuck inside the control when I pressed them and I had to use my nail to pop them back out but it's fine now. Just wanted to share my view. There are cheaper Humax remote controls for sale on Bolo but I wasn't sure if they would be the same as this one or not so I paid a bit more to get better quality but I'm not sure it makes any difference.
