I have an epiphone SG nearly 4 times the cost of this but the Mustang has quickly become my favourite for playability. Neck has a lovely satin finish and feel. Shorter scale and smaller fretboard radius make it really easy to access all the fretboard comfortably. Pickups are surprisingly good, lovely clean tone, maybe a slightly muddy sound with distortion but for the price pretty good. I've seen a lot of people report quality control issues with Squier guitars but this came with an inspection card with setup stamped. Checked the setup and intonation and it was spot on. All frets were smooth, no sharp ends. For the price it's amazing. I'd be happy at twice the price.

Love it, It's great -Wanted a short scale for my collection and this hasn't disappointed. Had to return one that had an issue with the neck, but the new one is a joy to play. Could probably benefit from a string and pickup upgrade, but out of the box there were no issues and it sounds pretty darn good for the money. I've lowered the action, adjusted the intonation, all things any player should learn to do, and these are player maintenance jobs IMO. It's such a simple guitar and I can see why it's one that's recommended for beginners, but that does not mean it is not capable, and this guitar is much more than the sum of it's parts and punches above it's weight - For me it's an example of perfect simplicity, and at a low entry price - I am now a Mustang fanboy.

Bought it solely to mod and refinish. Pretty well built, mild fret buzz but for the price it’s great for beginners or someone wanting a project. Internal routing is super rough but it is what it is

Great quality for the money. I am a seasoned player and this guitar is amazing fir the price.Tuners are good pickups are great and it’s a CV perfect first guitar that you won’t grow out of.I bought it as I wanted a single coil guitar with bright tone and pleasantly surprised.

I brought this to complete my fender/squier collection. I have to say I was very surprised. The one I got was actually very playable and had a decent sound. It still surprises me now every time I plug it in. No bad frets, fretboard was great. I expected to need to do some work on this but its perfectly usable out of the box.

I own 2 Fender Strats and a Jazzmaster but thought I'd try the Mustang as something different. After a minor adjustment to the setup (lowered the action, and adjusted intonation), the guitar played very well, comfortable easy to play neck, well finished frets, and a crisp bright sound as I'd expect from the single coil pickups. Being a bit smaller than a strat the guitar is very comfortable to play sitting or standing, and overall I would say the guitar is very good value for money.

初心者用ではない良い音良いつくり
このギターは色違いで2度目です。安価なのに非常にいい音がします。さらに引きやすく全体的な作りも良い感じです。おそらくあえてムスタングで当たり前のトレモロアームを外しチューニングなどが狂いやすい状況を取り去ったことで初心者用となっているに過ぎません。やや音が痩せているのでRATなどを使って音の腰をつけるとレコーディング用でも十分

Super guitare les micros sont convenables le manche est agréable et le jeu est facilité par le diapason plus court que sur strat .Je la recommande
On en a pour son argent...
Elle ne coûte pas cher, don on en a pour son argent, avec quelques points d'amélioration:- chevalet à changer ou modifier pour avoir les cordes en traversant. Sinon les pontets se retrouvent littéralement surélevés par la pression des cordes avec lesquelles ils sont en en contact, surtout si on cherche à avoir une intonation correcte.- Cordes de mauvaise qualité + mécaniques chinoises, cela conduit à une très mauvaise tenue d'accord- Micros bas de gammeSinon la lutherie est plutôt réussie, le manche agréable, le sunburst correct pour ce prix.
PRETTY IN PINK!
This is a Christmas gift for my niece, she got all jelly when I gave my nephew my old LTD and begged me to get her a guitar, so when I found this sweet pink pick'n stick, it checked all the boxes for a beginner. As a guitarist who has been playing for decades, I can say this is a solid platform for any beginner to start out on and grow with. It's very light, the body is Bass Wood, which is an inexpensive quality tone wood, but you do need to becareful as it does nick easily if you are too rough with it or don't care for your instrument.THE FIRST RULE, when you buy a guitar, even a cheap one, get a quality case to keep it in, if you want to be a musician someday, you need a quality case, other musicians will respect you and take you more seriously if you keep your instrument in a case. So show your instrument some love, and get a case.Now onto the guitar. It comes well packaged and protected in a heavy cardboard box. After unwrapping it I began my inspection and checked the inspection card and went over the detailing and function, everything checks out okay, but the strings have to go, and since this is going to a pre-teen I got some Ernie Ball 11-48's, which are a pretty durable and easy to play string set for beginner youth. Highly recommend the Power Slinky's. So plan on replacing the strings with those or your favorite set. You never want to give a guitar as a gift with factory strings, anymore than you give someone a wallet as a gift with no money in it. Bad juju.The body is a Barbie like pink that just pop's! It's like it's saying "LET'S PLAY!". The controls and switch seem solid and easy to dial. There is plenty of area on this guitar for a young player to add their own 'Hello Kitty' stickers and bling if they want. So along with a set of strings, to make it an extra special gift, as set of stickers would do the trick.The Neck is a D shaped, maple neck. Kinda thick for a beginner, but seeing that its a starter platform you want a thick neck to extend the life and durability of the guitar. String bends and pull off's and overall play ability is comfortable and fun. The tuners are quality as well, after tuning it up with new strings it held tune surprisingly well, albeit I'm still in the process of stretching the strings, overall I'm genuinely impressed with this guitars play ability.Final thoughts... This is not just a beginner guitar, this is a solid platform you can grow with if you get a case and take care of it. I do recommend you get it checked out at a guitar shop for proper set up, but other than that, 5***** Stars!
