It is high quality and the blades cut well. The nose trimmer (hard to find at first - under the cap on main part) is the best I have ever used. The rest of the cutters are great as well. Only complaint is the largest trimmer is not very big for trimming chest hair (I have a lot!) it cuts great and does not pull but it takes a few minutes to cover a large area (like I have) Issue is if they made a bigger head, it would need a bigger base and then wouldn't be as portable as this set it. Since this is my travel set, it is not an issue.

Some good, some not so good features

This set comes in a nice, giftable box. The trimmer looks chic and has a good weight to it. It is simple, yet comfortable to use. The charging base gives a luxurious look to the trimmer, but in practice it would probably be more convenient if the trimmer had a USB connector to be used with a standard charger. One of the best aspects of this set is that it has a good variety of heads. The mesh head is not a common one that you can find in all trimmer sets. The trimmer is relatively quiet and works well. On the down side, the mechanical parts are all plastic and upon close inspection look flimsy. When I removed the nose clipper the second time, it came out in two pieces. Perhaps it is separable to make it easier to clean, but I don’t have time to put the two pieces together every time I change the head. At $55, this set is way too expensive in its class.I am split between 3 and 4 stars. This is not as good as some of the 4-star trimmers, but it is better than some of the 3-star trimmers I reviewed. At the end of the day, a 4-star product is something that is not perfect but I would buy. This is something that is not bad, but I would not buy, especially at this price. Hence 3 stars.

Great and USB C

Before I talk about the actual device, I want to mention that this charges with a USB C cable, which is the current standard. I have another grooming device that has a proprietary cable which I already misplaced rendering the other product useless until I find the cable. USB C is the standard and the Urbaner uses it. You can also plug the cable into the base and set the trimmer on the base to charge.The previous generation of trimmers used a replaceable battery. This one with the rechargeable battery is so much nicer.There is a nice selection of attachments that are easy to swap out and attach securely.The brush is double-ended to ensure you can clean out the attachments.

I was not expecting it to be this good

I bought a ton of these kind of things over my lifetime and most of them are cheap garbage. I was really not expecting a whole lot from these. But I was pleasantly surprised. The main trimmer performs very well and while the motor isn’t exactly strong it’s not as weak as the ones that use a single AA battery. It’s performed relatively well and consistently. It doesn’t seem to get hung up as much as the battery powered ones. I love the fact that this one charges by USB. A few of the other attachments are useful as well. The precision eyebrow trimmer and sideburn clippers work surprisingly well. Not as well as my one blade but they will do A respectable job.I haven’t really tried the foil head because I don’t really have a use for it I don’t expect it to replace a shaver of that type.I said like this really needs to come with a custom fitted zip up case. Especially this price and it doesn’t so you’re liable to lose the accessories unless you keep them in the cardboard box which is really quite bulky. The charging stand is nice and has a good weight to it but the trimmer is so easily knocked off of the charger you really have to be careful. I think I would’ve preferred a straight plug and cable to the unit.Still overall I was pleasantly surprised. It doesn’t have any of the gimmicks like a LED light or anything but it does a good job for what it’s supposed to do.But the price, the price is a little steep for what you get. Especially because you don’t get a case. I’m sure there are trimmers just as good at half of the price. But then again there are also many trimmers available that are just simple wastes of money. So at least when you buy this when you know you’re getting something that will work. I do believe the lithium ion battery has a little more power than the battery operated one so I would at least look for a rechargeable one if you search for something cheaper.

Stopped working in two weeks

This 4-in-1 Beard & Mustache Trimmer is not so recommendable. It has stopped working after two weeks. The quality is not so great, and even the price point is not so good too. Beware and do not waste your money!
