From the moment she got it, it’s hardly left her side. She carries it everywhere, pulling it out to take quick photos of everything from her breakfast to her adventures in the park. It’s become a daily ritual for us to sit down and talk about what she captured — and it’s made for some genuinely lovely, memory-filled conversations.The photo quality isn’t on par with a smartphone, but that’s exactly what we expected — and it doesn’t take away from the joy she gets from using it. The charm is in the physical photo instantly appearing, and that old-school excitement really hasn’t worn off, even after a week of heavy use.We’re slowly building a little photo album together, and it’s quickly turning into a treasured collection. A couple of small drawbacks: the included case gets in the way a bit (she struggles to open it quickly when she sees something she wants to capture), and the film refills are pricey — but that’s really the only downside.If you’re looking for a screen-free, hands-on way to get young kids into photography and storytelling, this is absolutely worth it.
