I've tried many a 'for curly hair' shampoo and conditioner and these (mid priced) work really well for me. I've got fine hair which goes frizzy on the ends but these tame it right down without being too heavy on the curl

Used this on my son's hair, got soft curls but after a few weeks now he seem to get a lot of dandruff. Stopped using, so low stars for that. might work for others

4.0 out of 5 stars Umberto Giannini Hair Set – Good for Dry Wavy Hair but Shampoo Doesn’t Have the Nicest Scent
This shampoo and conditioner set by Umberto Giannini arrived packaged in a plastic bag and contains x2 250ml squeeze bottles that open at the base for convenient use. The set is designed to help hydrate dry curly hair by sealing in moisture and works well with my long, wavy hair which is quite dehydrated at the ends due to colouring.The shampoo and conditioner combination uses a triple hydrating complex which includes hyaluronic acid to lock in moisture and snow mushroom with black oat extract which all helps to reduce frizz by delivering long lasting hydration. It is safe for coloured hair and leaves my hair feeling soft and clean as well as very manageable without any added weight. The formula helps enhance waves without the use of sulphates, silicone or parabens which is great.The shampoo isn’t the nicest smelling product as it smells a bit chemically, but the conditioner does smell much nicer. However, the shampoo has a good consistency (not too runny or thick) which has a white pearlescent colour and did cleanse well. The conditioner’s scent does compensate the chemical smell of the shampoo well and is a white in colour with a creamy consistency. Make sure that you work it into the hair strands properly and rinse out thoroughly.I was able to style my hair as normal without any issues and I haven’t had any adverse reactions to the products. Both the shampoo and conditioner are 100% vegan and cruelty free and are made in the UK. Priced at £18.50 at the time of reviewing, which I think I reasonable for the quality, but they aren’t the largest bottles at 250ml. They do however contain good quality nourishing ingredients and it left my hair feeling clean, less dry at the ends and more manageable with a soft finish.

I love this combo for my dry frizzy curls! Moisturises and detangles well without adding weight to my fine hair, helps clump my curls and keeps them from going frizzy for days on end. I don’t like the tubes as they get misshapen which makes it difficult to squeeze out remainder of product. I pair my shampoo and conditioner with the jelly and mousse!

The bottle ripped the bag open on the inside, and the shampoo opened up and spilled out everywhere. Edit - I received a email asking if I would like a replacement shipped to me for free and it just arrived today in perfect condition. My bf has been using it since Christmas and says he loves it. Def buy this!

Least favorite product by Umberto. Actually made hair more tangled. Smell was ok. Prefer Banana Butter line by Umberto.
Formula change
I have been using this shampoo and conditioner for months and never had problems. I recently ordered just the shampoo and all of a sudden i am having allergic reactions to the shampoo! Has their been a formula change? I am extremely upset as this shampoo and conditioner was working great for months for my curls.
