Amazing mouse. I know it’s wired, but for its features it is so cheap. The grip on it feels nice, and not to grippy and doesn’t feel icky if you know what I mean, the clicks aren’t obnoxiously loud, but still clicks, definitely not silent. The scroll wheel is so nice, and it sounds good on both the tactile and infinite modes. I will say, the infinite scroll lasts about 10 seconds, which is longer than expected, and it is silent when in the infinite mode. The tactile scroll mode is nicely done, not too tactile. I like the mouse shape, fits my hands nicely, and the rgb is nice too, and without any programming on app, works great, with no hassle. Would be nice if there was a ‘rgb button’ for switching rgb modes on the mouse for people who don’t want to install software. There is a nice amount of buttons too, 3 on side, two mouse buttons, and an extra two on top for switching dpi and scroll modes, and one on bottom for changing profiles. It is very easy to use as well as you can just plug it in and it works.

I bought this for my Razer laptop because I hate the software you need for most peripherals, and wanted something that'd work with the already-installed Synapse.While it's no SteelSeries Rival 500 (my preferred wired mouse) in terms of buttons, it doesn't come far off, especially if you chord functionality. It's so much lighter than the Rival 500 though, ridiculously so, and glides very very well. Being able to adjust the resistance/clickiness of the wheel is pretty cool too. I do like this mouse a LOT.There's no bluetooth, but you can plug the USB cable in and use it wired. I love the flexibility of the dongle though - either put it in your machine, or use the included braided USB cable to plug the charger in, and plug it into the charger! Pretty awesome. The charger stand's actually good for holding the mouse while it's tilted past 45 degrees, so great for using on a non-level surface. Battery life's easily good for a few days use, so realistically it should never run out since all you need to do is drop the mouse on the charger then lift it off again. One hand. Why wouldn't you when you're done?Now the software, Synapse. It's pretty good when it works, but there's times it doesn't. Either the app crashes, or the service crashes, or it runs 100% cpu, or it doesn't detect when you're starting or switching to an app/game you have a specific razer profile for. And unless I've missed something, if you have a specific Razer profile for an app/game there's no way of getting rid of the annoying "switching profiles" overlay you get on-screen when you switch to or from it.I'm not going to penalise this for the software though, as firstly ALL peripheral software sucks - Logitech, Razer, Corsair, NZXT, SteelSeries... They're universally awful. There's still a chance that it could be improved though, unlike the hardware you're buying now.If I were to need a new mouse for a Razer laptop, I'd buy this again in a heartbeat. For anything else including desktop I think it'd be a pretty tough choice - which means I can only give this five stars!Oh, and the packaging's 10/10. Very robust, loads of foam, magnetic closing. Bit bulky for travelling (160x180x80) but if storage is a consideration for your use case, the box is great.

After using it for more than a 6months now and I would recommend it. Product is good, Im using it everyday, it's confy, so I would recommend it. The only downside is that it drains batteries really fast. You have to change it every 3-4weeks I would say.

My old Razer mouse was a bit knackered battery wise, so needed to replace it. The Basilisk is a curiously moulded mouse destined for right handed people. (I think they call them ergonomic mice), but its a nice fit. In addition to standard setup, you will need synapse to make the most of the mouses functionality too.The actual setup is fairly simple, it offerse bluetooth and wireless options. the dongle is inside the mouse compartment. You need 1 AA battery, and the scroll wheel does light up to match your synapse color profile (chroma). The mouse does not really weigh a lot, is easy in the hand and in addition to two side buttons has an extra button, which you could use as a reload button. I actual didnt notice this button out of the box, but its pretty nice to have an extra larger button on the side. The Basilisk has customisable dpi and texture sides to make gripping easier as well.Battery life is dependant on many things with this mouse, but you do get a low battery warning visually (flashes red), if you need to change the battery soon. Synapse also will send you a notification if the battery needs replacing to. Note that wireless mode will typically use more battery than bluetooth option. But potentionally, you can use this mouse with two different devices, so a good way to save some money there. The scroll wheel has a nice texture and works really well for webpages or just browsing exploring.Pros: Moulded for right hand users, bluetooth and wireless option, lightweight, has extra button on side.Cons: Not designed for left handed use, wireless mode can eat a brand new battery in a week.

This is a great mouse. I needed precision, lightweight, programmable buttons in a well built device. To me the mouse should be invisible in your workflow; it works so well you don't notice it. No, accidental double clicks and sureness with minimal moving. I never really knew how much the Logitech MX 1 was annoying me, until I replaced it due to heft and badly positioned (for my hands) side buttons.

I used to have a baslik v3 and I decided to get the pro to avoid the wires, this is by far the best mouse you can find on the market.

This is a brilliant product because it is simple to use, aesthetically pleasing, comfortable and an essential part of any serious PC or laptop user's arsenal due to its very affordable price.I've been using the mouse with laptop for a few weeks and, needless to say, I can't say I've been as excited about getting up in the morning and using a mouse as much as I have been with this one; it is quite simply a wonderful mouse.What you get for the price you pay starts with the amazing boxing and packaging with Razer's signature green style, modern aesthetic and pleasing looks. The stuff on the box is both informative as it is beautifully presented. You get the mouse with USB bluetooth adapter (which I have in my laptop perpetually), a very simple manual and a single AA battery (which supposedly lasts close to 500 hours!).The mouse has a clickable scroll, a sensor DPI changer underneath the scroll position, a back/forward side buttons configuration and a lovely 16k optical sensor. Underneath are options to turn off, turn on USB or bluetooth connections.I've tried this with productivity software and it runs accurately...and don't even get me started on the gorgeous response times in games. It is simply a must-have!
