I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with a dye product I recently purchased. The product in question was advertised as sage green, which is exactly the colour I was hoping to achieve on a dress I planned to dye.However, after following the instructions meticulously, the dye turned my dress an unexpected and entirely unwanted denim blue. Not only is this far from the sage green I was aiming for, but it has also ruined the dress, which is now completely unusable for the intended purpose.I am extremely disappointed with this result, especially given that I trusted your brand to provide a quality product. The incorrect dye has not only cost me the dress but has also wasted my time and effort. I would appreciate it if you could address this issue promptly.I kindly request a full refund for the faulty dye product and compensation for the ruined dress. Please advise on the next steps to resolve this matter.Thank you for your attention to this issue. I look forward to your prompt response.

This worked really well and dyed the whole garment fully without faded areas. Easy to use and full instructions provided. Final colour was darker than imagined but did a good job overall.

I've used a fair few Rit dye in the past - to dye clothes / fabric etc.This time however I chose the sage and the pink fuschia coloured dye to dye some pre made bows for Christmas.The Fuschia worked and gave the desired effect - the sage was pointless. I did everything the same way as the fuschia and even left this over night for a darker dye and instead the bows came out the same colour they went in. So so so disappointing as this isn't a cheap dye what so ever. Stear clear of this colour UNLESS your dying a cotton or natural fabric. The only reason I get rit over dylon is for it's use with synthetic fabric.... this was the biggest let down.

Really disappointed I choose to white bedding and it come out like this , looks like charcoal NOT SAGE green really angry put in the bin

Used this product on some white cushion covers to dye a sage green .. could of been the material but didn't work at all .. still as white as when I started .. waste of time and money.

But I am soooo glad that I did. It makes me believe those who got "wonky" colors from this have the wrong fabric to use with this dye or they are dying something that isn't white. I tried using the washer method, and I say "tried" because I have a stupid washer and it wouldn't hold the dye and water for longer than 20 minutes, so I didn't even get to soak it for up to 30 minutes the way the instructions suggest. I also used a cup of salt per the instructions. I was dying a white sweater that is 100% cotton. I was nervous when my washer automatically drained the water early, but I had no choice and rinsed it in one cold wash cycle. I didn't wash it with warm water since I couldn't soak it as long. I ended up LOVING the way it turned out. There is a chance I may buy another bottle in the future to do another soak to ensure full saturation, as sometimes I can tell in certain light that it may not be fully saturated in some places because my washer drained the water so early. But this color is exactly as described, sage green. And even with the trouble with my washer, I still love the way it turned out. Now my favorite comfy sweater that I was nervous to wear because it was white is something I wear and enjoy all the time! So glad I went with my gut and took the risk! Make sure what you're dying is the right kind of fabric for this dye and if it's white, you should end up with great results. Thank you, Rit! Wish I could add a pic but I don't have a smart phone.
