Functional Shoe Rack
I review based on price and product. Easy to assemble. Helped that we had a screwdriver with a Allen wrench attachment. Rack is functional. Doesn't line up perfectly when assembling, but close enough. Screws and dowels are all that is needed. I reccomend 2 people to assemble. I would not put heavy boots on this rack. Racks do have a center hinge.
Weak hinges in the middle of shelves
Beware of anything heavy in the middle of the shelves or accidentally leaning onto it. Hinges get bent very easily.
Missing part
All in all it’s okay for the price and to just be holding shoes by the door, but there were only 15 screws and a weird looking screw thing that doesn’t fit in the hole. Would love another screw sent if possible.
Just OK
The media could not be loaded. It’s just ok. For the price I was expecting something a bit more sturdy. It’s cheap and wobbles. The top two tiers come apart from the bottom ones if I lift it from the top so that’s annoying. If you’re ok with paying this much for something so cheap and flimsy go for it. I’m keeping it just cuz I don’t want the hassle of taking it apart and returning it but I don’t expect it to last long.
Not as wide and sturdy as I wanted
I bought this to replace an old metal one that was four stories and fit 4 pairs per shelf. Was skeptical about buying the bamboo. When the box arrived I thought I got the wrong one since it was small. The shelves fold in half which made putting it together a little harder. Heard some cracks when screwing the screws in. My daughter asked to sit on it and I yelled NO.you build two levels and stack one on top. With nothing on it one side wouldn’t remind down all the way even after pushing on it. May have to unscrew some to adjust. I recently bought another rack off Bolo that had 3 shelves and was way more sturdier but only held 12 pairs. After I assembled and tried putting my shoes on I thought I got the wrong one again. I measured it and it was 33 inches across. I by no means have wide feet but I could barely squeeze 4 across so only put 3 pairs on most rows. The pictures on this site are deceptive using women’s shoes and I guess kids. Could see me getting another one in the near future and spending the extra $15 to get the first one I got.
