I used to buy this brand in Wilkos but because it closed down, I didn’t think I would see this brand again. I think it’s a great water filter jug as live in a hard water area, and I got free filters and a free drinks bottle too. It’s worth the money, and you can buy extra filters on Bolo without the heavy cost of a well known branded water filter jug. I went for the smaller litre jug because of the weight with the bigger one is too heavy once filled. Filter speed is faster than some others and does not leak and is easy to fill.

The last 3 filter jugs we've bought have been Brita brand. There was nothing especially wrong with them they were just very samey, and all failed over time, especially where the hinges of the various flaps and spouts were concerned, so when I saw this filter I decided to chance it as it has 2 huge advantages over Brita.The first is a cunningly balanced "door" over the filler hole, meaning you don't have to press anything to open it you just pour in the tap water and it fills the jug and the second huge advantage - the coconut charcoal filters are supposed to filter roughly THREE TIMES faster than a standard Brita cartridge.Obviously, if it produced terrible water then the speed wouldn't matter much but if anything we prefer the taste of these filters to the Brita ones and yes it filters much, much faster. In practical terms it means you don't spend hours of your life at the sink, waiting for the filter to process the water - it is much faster. The jug filler "door" idea is also superb, and the cost is great too, especially when you factor in the included cartridges. All in all we couldn't be happier with our purchase and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone in the market for a new filter jug. 10/10.

Very easy to fill, and filters quickly. Slimline is ideal, and not too heavy even when full. Water tastes and looks better, which is important as I drink a lot of water, due to Chronic Kidney Disease. I use in the kettel for hot drinks also. The price was very competitive.
