The media could not be loaded. This was the easiest & quickest Nook book kit I have made .It was very good quality & sturdy & easy to put together with very little glue needed. The touch light is very responsive. Very pretty when finished & has lots of detail. All you need is glue & 2 x aaa batteries, which is much better than watch batteries. You can leave on all evening & then just turn off when you want. Batteries are easier to buy & cheaper than watch batteries & last much longer.I loved every minute making this & will be buying more cute bee kits in the future.

This was my first time doing a kit like this, and I'm really pleased with the results. It is every bit as lovely as it looks in the promo photos. The best part is that, in putting it together, you really get to savour the small details as you go, and there's some room for creativity in how you arrange the books and the posters.It is definitely fiddly to make and takes a good deal of concentration. There is very little room for error. Also it is largely held together with glue, even in many of the large structural elements. I had expected more pieces to slot together, with the glue only used to reinforce, but instead whole large set pieces consist of flat parts glued together, sometimes just by a small edge. It's worth getting a good quality, slow-drying glue that lets you mush things around a little, and plan on patience to let some parts dry before moving on to the next step. I used a small disposable cup to squeeze the glue into, and toothpicks for application.It is also worth paying close attention to the direction the pieces will be facing in the final build, as they are only printed on one side.I followed the advice of another reviewer and made sure to press out each piece from the back to avoid messing up the printed parts, as bits of wood inevitably splinter a bit in the process. There is a little file included to smooth the edges of each bit.But none of these are complaints, just a heads up for newbies like me! The pieces all fit together beautifully, I had very little trouble punching them out, and the instructions made sense. It took me about a weekend, off and on.

I bought this to make as a gift for my Auntie. I loved making it. It is very well made with good instructions and looks stunning. I love turning the little light on. And looking at the detail. I highly recommend it.

This was my first time doing a model kit like this but I fancied trying something different. The kit I got was the Detective House. The kit arrives in a really nice box with a lovely printed sleeve, so it would make an excellent gift. The pieces are very good quality and the instructions are clear. Some of the pieces were a little fiddly, so some patience is needed. It probably took me about 6 or 7 hours in total. The finished model is exactly like the photo, lots of detail and looks very impressive with the lights on. I really enjoyed doing this model and I will definitely order some more.In addition to purchasing the kit you will need 2 AAA batteries for the lights and some glue - I used PVA glue which worked really well.

Brilliant kit. Enjoyable, not too hard, not too easy. A couple of pieces printed a little off-centre but everything fits perfectly and the finished piece is really cute.

The lights don't work
I was so excited for this project. The quality is great, everything was going fine. But just as I finished it and put in the batteries I find out that the switch doesn't work no matter how much I tap.Very disappointed. Would love to get a new lightset so that I can finish it properly.

Smidig att sätta ihop. Kom ihåg att du behöver ha lim och att det är bra att ha en pincett som hjälpmedel.Blir en perfekt present till min 11 åring. Hon skulle dock inte kunna sätta ihop den själv. Är för en vuxen.
Muy bonito y fácil de montar
Espectacular producto, viene todo para ensamblar, con instrucciones en inglés y chino pero no hace falta explicaciones es muy intuitivo y con las fotos tienes más que de sobra. La única pega es que no viene cola para pegar las cuatro cosas que pone que van pegadas, pero en el chino val 2€ un bote... Lo volvería a comprar y seguramente compré algún otro diferente. Tiene muchos detalles y queda super bonito. He visto que ponen en algún comentario que habían tardado entre 8 y 10 horas en montarlo, yo y mi pareja lo montamos en poco más de una hora.

Great build, easy to follow instructions and a wife that was really ecstatic from the moment she got it all the way until she finished it and placed it in the bookcase.
Incorect wire
One of the wires in the kit is much shorter than it should be, and because of this, I cannot finish the project :( I would be happy to get the correct wire
