5.0 out of 5 stars Great low cost shelving

The wooden shelving is quite flimsy mdf, with all the supporting framework the strength is however fine, I store paint cans on mine, I sealed the mdf shelving to avoid swelling in winter.
4.0 out of 5 stars 30 minute build time
I bought this for shed storage. It arrived flat packed. Worthwhile counting all the metal pieces and separating them into piles before assembly. The small parts look similar. The instruction card is not very detailed. The key point to note is the placement of the metal end tabs into the frame. Some of the tabs need a very slight adjustment / bend. Very easy to do. Line them up then tap them down with the palm of your hand. Make sure they are both seated in the hole correctly. The metal middle support bars are fitted via the metal tabs through the hole then you need a flat edge screwdriver to bend them back, this adds rigidity to the entire frame. Tip - don’t bend the tabs on these bars until you’ve selected your shelve height. Otherwise you’ll double the assembly time and risk snapping the tabs. Took me 30 minutes. Once built it’s a sturdy shelving unit. The plastic feet were easy to attach, whereas the top plastic caps were awkward because I had the top shelf at the highest position. Worth dropping it down one level. Very happy with the rigidity and size. The MDF board is very thin but seems firm. I suspect it will bend or bow if you don’t displace the load/weight and it won’t last long if it gets wet. It’s great value for money. Ideal for the shed. It holds power tools, chain saw, tool box without any problems. I’ve screwed the frame to the shed to prevent it toppling over.
5.0 out of 5 stars Easy peasy
I've bought these shelves before (different seller) and it was easy to return to them. They are basic but if you want functional, easy to assemble, nice looking shelves at a low price I highly recommend them. They seem quite flimsy when assembling but trust me they are solid as a full structure. The MDF wood shelves are a little thin but when weight is distributed evenly, are strong and solid.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good sturdy product
Easy to assemble, may seem a bit flimsy when first starting to assemble but once fully assembled very sturdy. Perfect size for garage or shed. Good value for the price, would recommend.
5.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy, long lasting and value for money.
Takes less than 10 minutes to assemble together including knocking the males into the females with a lite duty precision hammer. Item is fit for purpose, however i ordered the wrong size in a hurry. I was supposed to to order 70x30x150cm. Got shelving in pristine condition, looks great and fit for being an organising individual who likes to keep things in order without the hassle of tipping things over just to find that one tool. The thickness of the steel is ok, not the best but it should be ok unless you're straining it. it is pretty impressive for the price to be honest. Glad i had bought it but i do wish i could've got the smaller one instead.
1.0 out of 5 stars Absolute garbage quality
Honestly, this is just the cheapest, crappest shelving I've ever seen. The problem you'll have is all the sellers re-sell the same products so avoiding this item means you might just end up with the same shelving. I bought some other shelving last year and that was fantasic and not much more expensive.Problems: simply the lugs you put into the slots just want to pop out all the time, no matter how much you put them in or use a mallet. It's like whack-a-mole - knock one in, the other pops out. They 'kind' of made it properly with the bracket that joins the two halves together because it has a small bulge that makes it really tight connection.Next problem is the centre brace just wants to slide out, so ignore what it says and do this: fold both lugs past 90 degrees then slide in. Because they are bent more than 90 it leaves a little gap for you to get your blade/screwdriver and bend the lug as far as you can so it cannot slide outNext problem, it comes with two instructions, one is the black and white 'international' version with no words and the pictures are useless, hence second colour instruction in English. The problem is you may as well ignore this and do it yourself because you will never do it right following their instructions, i.e. you need to be happy doing it all yourself (but it's not hard).Next problem, is getting it to the destination. If you built it in situ all is well, but otherwise, you carry it, but it twists because the metal is so thin and cheap and as mentioned the lugs do not fit tightly enough, so by the time you get it there you'll be lucky it is in one place. Then when it is in place you need your mallet to hit them all again back into place.I haven't used them yet, but I'm keeping them, I do not have much hope of it taking too much weight or not tipping over.Perhaps the best way to avoid getting this model is to look at the weight and any other sellers with the same weight you can presume it's the same one they're all selling.
3.0 out of 5 stars You will need lots of patience if clips were like the ones i got.
Easy instructions but NOT easy to put together you will need two people and i suggest some super glue because as you clip them in they come out with no effort at all so you get so far and the clips come out so you cant move it, infuriating is an understatement i had to walk away from it and take a chill pill lol if i was well off i'd of smashed the bloody thing up it got me so hissed off but glue really helps and a mellow calming friend with a steady pair of hands but to be fair good quality metal usual thin MDF but good enough and takes weight fine once put together if the clips of stayed in i'd give it 5 but because of that only 3 stars remember the glue you will thank me for it :)
4.0 out of 5 stars Missing stability
I got 2 of these shelves and they do the job, but with all said and done it doesn't feel thick enough to get a quality feel. The bending joints are easy to assemble and offer complete customisation of shelving height but the wooden inserts and stability is lacking. Its quite small and to help it feel stronger its best to go in a corner.
