This was bought has a replacement for an older and more expensive long slot Sage toaster. It toasts well but I have two niggles. First that the timer is in stages, rather than with continuous variability. So a particular bread may be overdone on one setting but underdone on the next lower setting. The second reservation is that the little bit more facility is too short, hardly adding any browning to an underdone slice. So only four stars. My other Sage was five star plus.

I absolutely love this - best toaster ever! Not only does it look so cool (I bought the matching kettle as well) in my kitchen, but it toasts to perfection! And having the option to set for brown/white bread, crumpets etc is an amazing addition. And I love the retro look of the dial on the front. Love it!
