I picked this up mainly for gaming and video editing. It came in simple but effective packaging, was easy to install, and was quickly enabled using Windows Disk Manager.Running WinSAT gives the following results:Disk Random 16.0 Read: 2259.58 MB/sDisk Sequential 64.0 Read: 6100.51 MB/sDisk Sequential 64.0 Write: 5351.59 MB/sCompared to my Crucial M.2 drive, this is a noticeable improvement. Load times are quicker, and everything just feels more responsive.Only thing missing was the motherboard screw, which would’ve been handy. Other than that, no complaints.Very pleased so far.

I got the Samsung 990 Pro 2TB SSD to upgrade my laptop, and I couldn’t be happier with the performance boost. Installation was easy, and my system recognised it immediately. If you’re upgrading from an HDD or an older SSD, you’ll notice a huge difference in speed.Boot times are almost instant, apps load much faster, and file transfers are really quick. I mainly use my laptop for gaming and work, and this SSD has made everything much smoother and more responsive. The PCIe 4.0 speeds really stand out, and Samsung’s Magician software makes it easy to monitor and optimise performance.One thing to note is that it can run a little warm, so if your laptop doesn’t have great cooling, keep an eye on temperatures. It’s also on the pricey side, but considering the speed, reliability, and storage capacity, I think it’s worth it.Overall, if you’re looking for a high-speed, high-capacity SSD upgrade, the 2TB Samsung 990 Pro is an excellent choice

Upgraded to the Samsung 990 Pro 2TB, and the performance leap is incredible. Boot times are nearly instant, and large file transfers complete in seconds. The drive stays cool even under heavy workloads, thanks to Samsung's thermal control technology. Installation was straightforward, and Samsung's Magician software made setup a breeze.

This drive has been reviewed to deah so I will just point out some issues I ran into.- It does not support 4k LBA format, just standard 512. Yes, it is still fast despite this but considering Samsung's OEM versions (PM9A1, older PM981(a), etc.) support it - it is a strange omission.- At least on my systems, based on Asus Z590, Z790 it throws WHEA warnings (corrected errors) that seem to be due to PCIe state transition (L1/L2). These can go if you disable PCIe power management or put the drive in "high performance" via Samsung' Magician but this should not be needed.Not everyone seems to be affected and other drives are reported to cause it but I have never come across these before having had many various drives.- Firmware by now has sorted the high wear-out issues but to be honest it should have never happened considering the long history Samsung have developing SSDs.All in all, I prefer the WD SN 850 X/P series at similar cost that supports 4k LBA and does not seem to throw any warnings. But you make your own choice, pity there are not many other choices at the high end.

This is a needed item if you are on your PS5 consistently as your storage runs out very quickly, 500 GB is not enough.It was easy to install, it's compatible, the boot time is instant, it's very reliable, there is little to no noise.This item isn't necessarily only for the PS5, you can also install it on other consoles or your PC/laptop.Anyway, you are paying for a quality item and it's worth it.

Che dire, velocità impressionante, ho sostituito il precedente disco primario (uno dei 970, appunto) clonandolo con l'ottimo Samsung Magician e per copiare 360 Gb di dati ci ha messo un quarto d'ora scarso. Ho testato il disco con CrystalDiskMark e i risultati sono superlativi per quanto riguarda la scrittura (5087Mb/sec per la lettura sequenziale, perfettamente in linea con quanto riportato da Samsung) e ottimi, ma leggermente inferiori a quanto indicato per la scrittura (3820 Mb/sec contro i 4200 indicati, ma è un'inezia). Sotto stress non sembra scaldare troppo, non ha mai superato i 60°.Ottimo prodotto, lo consiglio vivamente.

Recently SSD price increased much as crazy, but this one increased slightly less than other products. That's the reason I purchase it.Unfortunately, its Write speed at 6650MBps and Read speed about 6800MBps on my PC which are lower than expected.
