I was going to use it for my car but unfortunately my boot opens high and it not long enough to make it like a tent like and it dosnt seem straight either, unsure of it due to the shape of my car or the tent. But it definitely would suit to a van type long L shape boots. But I do love the bug net that built in and it not heavy nor bulky. Comes in a bag and you can just easily store it away in the boot. I have been told by the seller that it is not waterproof for heavy rain.

Nicely made, fits ok even on my VW van
I bought this Tailgate Shelter for my VW van. It just fits and provides great shelter and privacy. Easy and fast to install, creates a nice dark room feel. It is well long enough too. Quality is adequate for the price and it packs down very small and light. If it would be 4" deeper it would be perfect and 6 stars
