More Than a Diagnostics Scanner
The OBD2 car code reader is able to read and interpret over 3000 different error messages so you will always know precisely what the problems are. Besides that, the car diagnostics tool makes it possible to interpret fault codes, clear car fault codes, display sensor data such as engine speed, coolant temperature, car speed and more.
Important: Always take the scanner out of the OBD port. Leaving the scanner in the OBD port can slowly drain your battery over time.
Compatibility
American-made cars manufactured after 1996 should have no issues, while European cars may only be compatible if they were made after 2003. There must be a 16-pin data link connector under the dashboard and the vehicle emission control information label must state that the vehicle is OBD2 compliant. Important: Not for EVs, hybrids and some diesel vehicles!
It is crucial to be vigilant about compatibility to ensure that this car scanner will work for your vehicle.
The car code reader is compatible with Android, iOS, and Windows devices. Great little helper, I just plugged the little OBD2 Dongle into the OBD2 Socket under my dash, downloaded the free Torque app onto my Samsung Smart phone, fired up the engine, paired the OBD2 unit with my phone's Bluetooth settings using the code 1234, as per the instructions that came with the dongle, The instructions came on a tiny little booklet that I had to read with a magnifier, my only niggle about the whole operation, Then hey presto, the phone sprang into life and dials and charts appeared that let me see how my car was performing, I pressed the settings button and a host of choices sprang up for me to operate, right at the top is error faults, 'great' this will give you the fault codes required to find cause for the engine fault light on my dash, and the two codes came up telling me I had bulbs fitted to the car in the reverse light and day running light needed replacement, Both of which I was able to fit, Job Jobbed, so I now have the tool I need to save me a fortune in garage bills, Thank You...

Small and compact, i'm using it with a Kymco Agility 125cc.With my motorcycle I can read just few variables and not most of ECU parameters, but it's working pretty well in my case.Sometimes the automatic cluetooth connection does not work, but...well....bluetooth has always been painful in that sense.I would suggest the item.
Cheap OBD2 reader that works
I purchased this expecting it to either be incompatible with any app I used or not get the information I needed. I was thoroughly surprised when it arrived that it worked with all the cars in the family. It retrieves data from all the sensors available in the car and retrieves any error codes stored. The latency varies depending on the car which isn’t a real issue.If you’re a stats person this little thing is amazing for better understanding all metrics and performance of your car. If you’re on IOS torque pro is a great app choice.Only thing that would be great is an option to turn the lights off as at night the flashing can be quite distracting
