Looks a treat. If you like your toast well done the max settings are spot on. Great extra lift option so no burnt fingers, frozen bread setting. Good size slice holes. If anything, the flex is very short but suitable for our position in the kitchen

This is a surprising nice toaster. Not expensive overall and seems well built. The controls are pretty standard and the variable width grip for bread etc works well. In use the sides remain cool.

Nice looking but even turned up to max fails to toast home made gluten free bread properly. Lack of browning range an vital shortcoming. Could not honestly recommend except as an ornament!

This review is for the Beko TAM8402G Cosmopolis 4 Slot Toaster. I have been searching for a decent 4 slot toaster for a while as our last one was rubbish. I read many of the reviews here, many put me off. However the specifications were exactly what I was looking for, so I decided to purchase anyway. So far I have not found anything I don’t like about this toaster.It has deep slots so it will toast a full tall slice like Hovis etc.It has independent control for left and right so you can use either side.It seems to be well made.Some reviews say it is slow to toast. It’s no better or worse in this respect than any other toaster I have owned.It toasts evenly.Very pleased with my purchase.

I spent ages looking for the right toaster after my trustee Russell Hobbs one burnt everything to a crisp, but I’d had it a long time. I received this & loved the look of it. I did a quick check that it worked & threw the box out. The next morning I put the toast in & set it on 4 it popped up as white as it had gone in just warm & dry- no worries I thought. I’ll just pop it down again & set it higher tomorrow morning. It popped up only slightly tanned & was as dry as a crouton. So my toast wasn’t great but I thought tomorrow I’m armed with the knowledge that it needs to be on a higher setting. Sadly it never really worked properly, it just made the bread dry and crispy, no tan, just a slightly toasty look but anemic. I tried the other side, my partner doesn’t like overly browned toast so he said he would try. He too couldn’t believe just how rubbish the toaster was. If you like stale warm bread then this is the toaster for you. I’ve now replaced it with another make & returned this one.

Very happy as it took the bloomer bread I purchase for Aldi perfectly.(I did measure many other toasters before I found this fabulous one.)So many toasters only take a thin square slice of basic bread - why?Not this one.The slot size which manufacturers seem very reluctant to tell you is generous at:14.5 cm tall x 3cm x 14.5cmPlus the elements will toast any bread completely up to that size, not leaving the edges raw.Fat tea cakes also fit wellLooks good. Easy to clean.£ 10 cheaper than in Curry’s too!
