I have been in the supplement business for many years and I have taken Bromelain for a period of time. This product is high strength and I have not had any of the reported issues of empty capsules. Every capsule I have taken has been full. I use Bromelain for the eyes. It helps to lubricate them and helps to reduce floaters. This particular product works well. It appears to be easily absorbed and my eyes are moisturised. It also helps to clear my sinuses when they were clogged. There are very few side effects from Bromelain and this product has given me non. I am therefore very happy to recommend it.

Easy to take, priced right capsules

I used to drink liquid pineapple juice until one day I swallowed it and noticed it had gone rancid. This unfortunately caused me great gastrointestinal distress. I then decided to find an alternative and chose this product. I take it if my meal consists of meat. Easy to take and swallow. As they say “No mess-No fuss” For me it’s great. In my opinion you can’t go wrong unless you’re allergic to pineapple.

I have ulcerative colitis, a very severe form of it. I've been on every medication, even multiple forms of chemotherapy with no success. Although this remains an issue for me, I've run the gamut of pain medications from over the counters to even Percocet & Fentanyl patches up to 50mcg with minimal positive effect. I didn't like putting all that poison in my body, especially when it was largely ineffective.But I desperately needed pain relief. I had heard about the health benefits of bromelain, but I don't own a blender powerful enough to make the core of a pineapple edible/drinkable. Bromelain supplements became the next idea.Admittedly, I do take them with other herbs such as slippery elm, licorice root & marshmallow etc... root to help ease my gut symptoms, but the latter do not affect my pain levels. The bromelain does, it's also a great anti-inflammatory for the gut! I find that it is almost as effective as prescription pain medications without all the nasty side effects. Taking Toniiq's bromelain makes my life more bearable, and does so safely. I take two a day, one in the AM and one at night. It's a small pill, with no odor or aftertaste. I'm very glad to have come across it because without it, the pain with my disease is such that I can't leave bed (except to go to the bathroom).I'll need more help health-wise down the road, but this supplement will be a mainstay of my diet going forward.Lastly, I had a concern about taking the bromelain at first. I have pulmonary embolisms (blood clots in both lungs). As a result, I'm on a blood thinner. That medication is Xarelto, and Xarelto has no anticoagulant. I'm unable to take Nsaids like Advil because of it. So I was initially concerned because bromelain is also an anticoagulant. I was mistakenly making a connection that it might complicate that matter thinking that bromelain was a blood thinner, but it is not. It has anticoagulant properties, and since I'm already on an anticoagulant, nothing changes, so it's safe for me to take. I've been taking this supplement now for five weeks, and I only have positive things to say.I'm very thankful to have discovered it. Try it, see if you too can get off of or avoid stronger prescription pain killers.I'll also mention, that I have severe back injuries (herniated / bulging discs, broken vertebrae etc...). This isn't going to help with THAT kind of pain, but my UC is so severe, that the benefits I get from bromelain are incredible! I desperately needed some relief, and am fortunate to have found it.I highly recommend.

Capsules are covered in powder, not sure if one of them might have opened and spilled? Not crazy about the container, its not a pill jar like most supplements come in. You have to reach in to pull out a capsule and with the powder on the capsules, its kinda messy/unsanitary...I havent noticed anything better than other brands, seem to work about as ok as others Ive tried, not sure I will be buying this brand again.
