my grandson is 6 years old and found some of the other cheaper spirographs did not come easy to him, this one although probably marketed for younger children suited him much better and he can master it quite easily, for the price its well made and the grooves are much better defined than in some of the others Ive tried which tend to be so small the rings bounce off, he loves drawing with this and Im sure it will last a lot longer too. definitely recommend

This wonderful educational toy opens up a creative world of wonder and amazement to anyone who has not seen or experienced the magic this work of art brings to children and adults alike. Seeing the joy and smiles on the faces of children as young as three as they create the geometric patterns brings joy in abundance and when the drawing pad supplied with the toy runs low then post-it note pads readily fit the bill so that the myriad of creations can be readily attached to the fridge or the childrens' 'wonder wall' for all to admire. Looks like a great little unit, very well thought out for younger users. However it would be good if you could buy refills for the paper as the pack included will last no time at all. So the guide says the paper is 'half A5'. It is not, nor is it half A4. What it appears to be is half Letter.Other than it's great!

This has been used loads, easy to use, really sturdy.You get a pad of paper that clips in which is brilliant. Everything clips inside the case so its great for travelling.Guide book with fun designs is easy to follow.Worth the money and would buy again as a gift for other children.

I bought this for my 7 year old son but i thought he might not like it i only bought it as his bigger sister had the older Spirograph set, but i have to say i was pleasantly surprised he has spent hours playing with it and its suitable for his age

It says for ages 3 and up but I think it is too hard for a 3 year old to do alone and be successful at it. I think it is more appropriate for children around age 7. It does require dexterity and patience. It is sturdy and will last a long time. The pens dry out quicky but you can use regular colored jell pens.

An sich ist der Spirograph nicht schlecht. Allerdings können die Scheiben sehr schnell aus dem Zahnkranz herausrutschen, was zu Frust führt. Bei anderen Herstellern ist das deutlich besser gelöst.
