These magnets were good value and performed the function I bought them for well, i.e holding a pair of acrylic doors shut. They seem quite strong magnets and no rust is evident on them. Easy to mount with the central countersunk hole. One thing to be aware of is that you don't get washers to use with the magnets.

When I first opened my package I was a little disappointed with the size of the magnetic discs because I wanted them to hold a heavy post in my horse trailer.I needn’t have worried though, they held it very firm and needed a real tug to release it. I am amazed at the strength of these little things.

pourquoi ? cet aimant est en realite composé de deux partiesl aimant lui meme ( 13 mm ) place ( collé) dans une "cloche" metalique (24mm)" qui "rabat" les lignes de force de l aimant vers l avant, ce qui booste la force d attirance . l aimant une fois sortit de cette cloche ( en chauffant a l air chaud) ne vaut plus grand chose ...preferer les aimants sans ce subterfuge
