I’ve been using the Aqua Optima Evolve+ Water Filter Cartridges as replacements for my Brita jug, and I’m really impressed by their performance. These cartridges fit perfectly and are an excellent alternative to Maxtra filters, making them very convenient and cost-effective.They do a great job reducing limescale, chlorine, and other impurities, which has noticeably improved the taste and clarity of my tap water. The water tastes fresher and smoother, making it much more enjoyable to drink and cook with. I also appreciate that the cartridges help protect my kettle and appliances from scale buildup.Installation is quick and hassle-free, and each cartridge lasts for the recommended time without any drop in performance. I have had a couple of these filters before (not from Bolo, but same filter) and was initially not sure about them due to very slow water flow, until I worked out how to use them properly in my Brita filter. Once I worked out how to use them properly, they seemed to do a very good job. Water flow is reasonable, scale is not a problem.I only recently went back to an original Brita filter, as I ran out of these Aqua Optima ones and had a spare Brita filter in the cupboard, however I now realize that the Brita filters don't last very long (my lovely glass kettle got all scaled up after a couple of weeks back on the Brita) and I think I will keep using these Aqua Optima ones from now on, they keep my kettle looking sparking and the water tastes good and makes a great cup of tea/coffee. Seem to be on a par with Brita in terms of water quality.Considering the initial cost, plus how long they seem to last, they offer very good value for money. It was also an advantage that I was able to get these delivered same day as I had no spares in the cupboard and the previous filter (brita) had suddenly gone from working to giving me cloudly water almost overnight.

Here’s my review:Pros:Improved Water Taste: The biggest difference I’ve noticed is the taste of my water. It’s much fresher and cleaner after filtering with these cartridges. I can really tell the difference, especially when I drink water directly from the tap.Long-Lasting: Each cartridge lasts for about a month, which is decent for the price. I’ve found they last just as long (if not longer) than some of the more expensive brands I’ve tried in the past.Easy to Install: The cartridges are simple to install and fit well with my Aqua Optima filter jug. These work fine in my Britta kettle. They provide a small widget to ensure it fits securely in the water tank. This does, however this does cause the filter to stick up into the tank so less water fits. Good price and work well but I'm not sure I'd purchase again.

Pleased with the filters bought for a new Brita Marella jug - perfect fit and good flow rate (not too fast - allowing the water to benefit from the filtering).No leakage and the water exiting has no unwanted taste issues - clear. I use the filters for stopping chlorine tastes and hard water scum in my teaTo work though, these filters do need the little "widget" supplied in the box.They seem very effective and good quality for under £2 a filter when you buy 12.
