This is excellent, I've started shaving my own hair at home and this is definitely the easiest hair shaver I've ever used, it gets an even all over cut every time and i can do it myself in a couple of minutes.The performance is top notch, you get a good selection of guards , I've used the 6mm number 2 and then decided to go shorter to 4.5mm , I like that you can go in-between number 1 and 2 buzz cuts to 4.5mm, there is also a 2mm cut and an even shorter one so its also excellent for blending in or getting a very close all over bald shave if needed.But I'd say this is more suited to very short all over buzz cuts at home and its super easy to use , change guards, the battery life is excellent and ergonomically its designed to be easy to hold for shaving the back of your head and neck.There is a large selection of guards so its easy to shave and blend really short or for longer hair cuts, it feels robust , cuts very well and is easy to clean and maintain.I won't be going the barbers again now I have this , it gives a superb quality shave at home and I can shave my own head with ease in less than 2 minutes.Even better than I was expecting, if you like a really short buzz cut then this is an excellent device, it does the job well.

The media could not be loaded. I have been cutting my own hair for several years and before that my wife used to cut it. I have always used a professional hair clippers and have had both cordless and corded. The clippers that this Remington Quickcut was bought to replace are corded and cost a lot more money. There is nothing wrong with them, but I have found it very difficult to cut my own hair with them and I decided to try and find something a little easier. After a fair bit of research I decided to give these a try.I have just used them for the first time and they are way better than the traditional clippers that they are replacing. Please watch the video for an in-depth look at them and to see how I got on with them whilst cutting my own hair. They are so much easier to use than my other ones. This is partly due to the fact that the blades are curved and fit the contours of my head better. Also they fit into the hand in a way that makes keeping the blade flat against the scalp much easier than the long handle on traditional clippers. This is further enhanced by the absence of a chord. They are much easier to use if you cut your own hair. This also applies if you usually get someone to do it for you too. I found them much quicker too as they were easier to keep flat on my scalp.Inside the box: The clippers, a soft carrying case, Instructions, charger, cleaning brush, oil for the blade and nine different sized combs (see the product description for their sizes). In the video I use the clippers without a comb and they cut my hair very short (1mm according to the instructions).The clippers have a battery that should last around 40 minutes. I reckon it took me around 5 minutes to cut my hair and beard so plenty of cuts on one charge. It recharges from flat in 4 hours. A brilliant feature is the ability to use them from the mains socket, with the power adapter plugged in, if the battery is flat. The mains adapter has a cable of around 6 feet length so it would be possible to cut your hair easily this way. It does state that constantly using the clippers via the mains will shorten the life of the battery. Personally, I love the fact that the clippers are cordless and would only use this feature if I ran out of charge. The unit also has a quick charge feature that may allow you to finish a cut if the battery runs out. 10 minutes charge time will give an “emergency burst of runtime”.The clippers are easy to clean. They are water resistant and are designed to be switched on and rinsed under a tap. The blades can easily be removed to give the clippers a more thorough clean with the brush provided. They did not need this after I cut my hair, but I showed it in the video. Three drops of oil on the running blade and then the clippers can be put away ready for the next cut.There is another clipper called the Shortcut that is quite a bit more expensive than the Quickcut. If you are wondering what the difference is; the Shortcut is completely waterproof and can be used whilst showering to keep the mess down. I like to cut my hair in the shower, but when it is dry, before I actually turn it on. Also, I like to check that I have not missed anything in the mirror before I shower, so for me the Quickcut is fine.I love using these clippers. They are much easier and quicker than my old ones. There is no chord to deal with so you can cut your hair anywhere. They are quiet, fit nicely in the hand and are ergonomic to use. At no time did they feel like they were unsafe or had the potential to cut me around the ears or nose. I was very comfortable using them. I cannot vouch for how long they will last, but after reading other reviews and owning other Remington equipment, I think that they will be a good purchase. I loved using them and I reckon you will too if you are fed up of struggling to cut your hair with conventional corded hair clippers.

I have bought a few hair clippers recently after my old ones had started to pack in. Having spent a considerably amount of money assuming if I spend more I will get better quality and ending up sending them back as they were awful I finally went with this.Well first of all its very easy to hold, I will say that is for someone with a large hand. If you are quite small it may be tough and tiring to hold and control. The other thing is its nice and sharp, no need to take the No1 clip off its just fine to give a close cut. Yes, this does shape around the head well but the only thing I would say knocks a star off is it really needs to come with extension clips that can do behind the ears like a lot of brands do.The USB charges really quick and it has a good charge that lasts for a considerable amount of time. No loud noise or rattles from it as well so it seems to be well built.In fact for the money, I think this is excellent value.

I bought this hair trimmer after doing some research as I wanted a hair trimmer for my own use as using my professional clippers on my own hair can take quite some time. So as a retired barber of 40 years+ I have seen various gadgets and gizmos come and go over the years so when I received the Remington Quick cut on first impressions l was very impressed. Someone has clearly thought very carefully about the design and functionality, from the way it can be held to the blade design and cleaning it after use. The battery life is very good too with the option to connect the charging cable for continuous use if the battery becomes flat. If you are wanting a very close cut using it without any attachments it is excellent and in fact I couldn't get a closer cut with my professional clippers after using the Remington. It does come with a large number of attachments which fit securely. In conclusion I would recommend the Remington Quick cut as it easy to use and clean and gives very good results.

Enter the Remington Quick Cut Hair Clippers, and suddenly I’m my own barber — and not a bad one, if I say so myself. This thing glides through hair ,No tugging, no awkward patchy spots, just a clean, even cut in record time.It’s small but mighty, fits perfectly in the hand, and the 9 combs make it ridiculously easy to get the right length every time. The curved blade design actually follows my head (a concept some barbers apparently missed), and cleaning it takes less time than you would think.In short: five stars — faultless. If it ever breaks, I’ll buy again in a heartbeat

This product is a life-saver for those that want to do a regular haircut but do not want to go out to the hairdressers every time. I am a balding man and need to trim at least once a week for the aesthetic look, so the Remington QuickCut is fantastic; it has a battery life of about 40 minutes, so one charge is good for about six to eight weeks, depending on how quick you are.

Seit 2008 gehe ich nicht mehr zum Friseur und mittlerweile rasiere ich mir eine Stoppelglatze. Ich habe recht dicke Haare und dementsprechend schon viele viele Rasierer getestet und verschlissen. Philips war früher mein Favorit, mittlerweile haben die so nachgelassen, das mir davon keiner mehr ins Haus kommt. Babyliss hielt sich ganz gut für den Preis. Dann kam Remington mit dem "Saugschneider" - funktionierte die letzten Jahre sehr gut und tut immer noch seinen Dienst. Aber irgendwie war es mir immer noch zu mühselig, den Kopf samt Gesicht damit auf eine Länge zu bringen (die Haare, nicht den Kopf selbst!). Daher also wieder auf die Suche, Männer brauchen ja Spielzeuge.Das Teil hier ist bis jetzt der heilige Gral:- schneidet ohne Aufsatz kürzer als alles, was ich bisher hatte- angenehme Geräuschkulisse- kein Ziepen, kein Reissen- reizt die Haut nicht so wie andere, sehr sehr angenehmes Rasurgefühl- durch die gebogen, große Klinge ist mein Kopf samt Gesicht in gefühlten 2 Minuten fertig- man muss überall eigentlich nur einmal drüber gehen, wenn man es vernünftig macht, nicht 3-4 mal wie bei anderen Geräten- leicht zu reinigen- die Handhabung durch die Form ist der Hammer. Ich dachte erst ich würde eine Weile brauchen, mich dran zu gewöhnen, aber Pustekuchen. Beim ersten Versuch war ich hinterher so baff, das ich kurz überlegt habe ob ich sofort eine Rezension schreibe - habe mir dann aber überlegt das es nicht so gut käme, wenn ich ich alle Haare in der Bude verteile ;-)Zu guter letzt ist es auch noch klein und handlich und sieht schick aus. Ich denke der Akku macht bestimmt 5-6 "Friseursitzungen" mit, da es ja sehr schnell geht. Wie er sich bei längeren Haaren und mit Aufsätzen verhält kann ich leider nicht beurteilen, aber für Stoppelglatze und 1-Tage-Bart ist das Ding perfekt!Wenn es jetzt auch noch lange hält würde ich sogar 100 Euro dafür bezahlen. Preis-Leistung ist der Wahnsinn.
