Hints of Chicano, Philly, Chicago, Memphis, and even Panama soul turn up here, and while it's tempting to toss around labels like 'retro' with a deliberately analog collection like this, there's also something distinctly modern about the band that defies easy categorization, a rawness and a sincerity that transcends time and place.

WOW! A superb debut album. The old school 60s and 70s soul influences are everywhere but it never comes across as pastiche - it really does sound so authentic. The open production, laid back vibe and sensational sweet vocal harmonies are a joy to listen to. People was can actually sing melodically, who can harmonise properly and know how to control their voices. No OTT vocal gymnastics but tender heartfelt interpretation of the lyrics- just as it used to be.I love this album

Discovered this group recently via an instagram post of theirs and immediately added both their albums to collection. Beautiful, bringing authentic soul music of the 70s back to life.
