Takes about 20 seconds from cold then just a few seconds to charge when using. This gives great freedom to iron cordless.Brilliant steam function and boost.Only one slight drawback is difficult to see the water level but this seems to be the norm these days.Definitely would recommend.

Functionality:I like the cordless irons, so much better than dragging a wire all over the clothes etc. drives me mad. it takes a knack to get the iron back onto the base, a bit annoying but fine when you get to know it.

Heats up really quickly and stays hot long enough to iron a t shirt in between charges.Charging takes about 15 seconds to warm back up fully again so works out perfectly with changing clothing over while it charges.Steam function works well and is really strong and the added factor you can use as an air press has come in handy while traveling 5🌟

This iron needs to be put back on its base after ironing the equivalent of 2 sleeves of a polo shirt. Then I have to wait for the green light and I can iron the front, then back onto heat up again and iron the back. Ironing is taking so much longer. Also I have to use maximum heat on almost everything otherwise clothes stay creased. You have to exactly line up the iron with the base and being a funny triangular shape this is not as easy as I would like. Do not buy this unless you are a very slow ironer and don't mind waiting all the time for the iron to reheat.

Bought this iron as I thought it would be lighter and easier to use than my current corded steam one.Great if say you’ve only a shirt/blouse to do but not good if you’ve a full basket as it loses heat quickly.

I was sceptical about buying a cordless iron but I love it. It’s very easy to use and I also love the fact you can use it corded should you wish too but I don’t have piles of ironing so ideal for me. I have also found it great for my sewing crafts too. So convenient would purchase again and recommend.

I like the premium feel of the breville it has a generous length power cord should you choose to lock base to the iron but i like cordless mode works very well good size water reservoir ironed two 9kg laundry loads on one full reservoir the iron isnt as light as i expected but the ironing plate glides easily over the item being ironed and a bit of weight sometimes aids ironing plenty of steam outlets in the sole plate i think breville for the price point is very competitive its a solid product

Mediocre at Best
Read online this was the best cordless there was but I have to say that is certainly not the case. Engineering is poorly thought out with the stand. Moreover, this device leaks a lot & probably a danger to most. Avoid!
