These are great value and taste delicious - excellent flavour, which is, after all, the main purpose of a coffee (if you don't count the caffeine!). The pods are so strong though that they create a vacuum in the machine so you do need to spike the round end before use to get round this. I use either a corkscrew or a skewer. The faff is worth the very good saving though and I've ordered more.

Ive probably bought every Nespresso compatible capsule out there , Starbucks/ Costa/ all the supermarket ones and then I found the brew black range on Bolo and thought id be sticking with those for a while and then up pops Bolo with these CARTE NOIRE lungo ones so I thought why not , we’ll first thing to notice is the super sexy way there presented😂 look at those little beauties, then comes the taste, I have mine with a little microwaved milk and then one press on the lungo button and ive got to say what a lovely coffee, very nice creamy layer and very well rounded as well and another good thing they pour nicely through the machine , good price as well. Enjoys guys get on the carte noir!

We recently purchased a pack of 60 Carte Noire Espresso Lungo Nespresso Compatible Aluminium Capsules for our Nespresso machine, hoping for a convenient and flavorful coffee experience. However, our experience with these capsules has been quite disappointing.While the flavor of the coffee is ok, we encountered significant issues with the capsules themselves. Unfortunately, they do not work well with our Nespresso machine. At times, the capsules fail to filter the coffee through entirely, resulting in a frustrating lack of coffee extraction. On other occasions, the coffee only trickles out slowly, leading to prolonged brewing times and less-than-ideal coffee quality.Overall, the inconsistent performance of these capsules has left us dissatisfied, and we have no intention of purchasing them again.They may work well for others, but for us this time it was a no.

Ok so I bought these because they were cheap and I get through a lot when working from home. I immediately regretted my purchase as at least 8 out of the first 10 capsules used ended up mega compressed in the machine and nearly no coffee came out. There seems to be some issue with the size perhaps (need to check) but solution is to use something to carefully poke a small hole in the non-foil end of the aluminium capsule, bang in the middle. I use a skewer and just leave it next to the machine. Every capsule works perfectly after you give it a little hole.4 stars because I have to punch it each time. Hopefully Carte Noir can fix it as I don't have the problem with any other capsules.
