5.0 out of 5 stars Endless fun

Good thing I didn't buy one years ago, or I probably wouldn't fit through the door now! Turns out it's all too easy to combine various ingredients and make delicious ice cream. As some others have commented, pouring the ingredients into the inlet can be a bit fiddly and messy, but you soon get the hang of it with the liquid part, and any other, more solid, additions just open and stir in towards end of freezing process. Ive never had or tried another ICM for comparison, but am happy with this for the price and my usage. Keep the bowl in freezer at the ready (a litre round tub of your previous ice cream batch sits inside it nicely, so you're not wasting space.)
5.0 out of 5 stars Works well
Great price and works well
4.0 out of 5 stars You need to practice
Making ice cream is not as simple as I thought. The main problem with this item is judging how long to leave the basin in the freezer before using.I'm constant getting it too cold resulting in a thick layer of frozen ice cream building up on thr edges of the basin. It will take a lot of practice to get right.Otherwise assembly is reasonably simple , again after a bit of practice . Cleaning is straight forward although care needs to be taken as the top is basic hard plastic.
5.0 out of 5 stars Made delicious blackcurrant ice cream
It's worth making sure that the freezer part is kept in the freezer for at least 12 hours, I rushed my first batch and the results weren't great.I've made blackcurrant, blackberry and biscoff ice cream and they all taste great.
5.0 out of 5 stars Delicious
Easy to use, recipes at the back of user booklet. Made banana ice cream, it was amazing. Can't wait to try others. Great for the price
5.0 out of 5 stars CIDER SLUSHIES
I originally purchased this to make pistachio ice cream, as I couldn’t find it in the shops and was craving some. Worked a charm. Although in the summer I put a thatchers blood orange cider in there, turned it on and within minutes I had cider slushy. Don’t know if this is already a thing or if I am an absolute genius, I vote the latter.
5.0 out of 5 stars Up to Date Tech
A great ice cream machine. It is easy to use, with an impressive digital timer display. The freezing tub must be placed in a four star freezer preferably over-night. Less effective freezing will not produce ice cream. This I know from experience.
3.0 out of 5 stars Fragile
Works ok but the paddle and churning mechanism are both a bit plastic fantastic and I'm not convinced it will last. Disappointing for a Lakeland product and given the price, the functionality is extremely minimalistic. Had I known I would have just chosen a cheaper model to achieve the same thing.
