The telescope thing is useless as it’s blurry when you look through it but my son doesn’t care he loves his new nerf gun!The storage for the bullets is a great addition

I grabbed the Nerf Elite 2.0 Eaglepoint RD-8 for my kid’s outdoor birthday bash, and within minutes the back garden had devolved into a full-scale Hunger Games re-enactment—screaming alliances, sneaky flanking, the works. The blaster absolutely delivers on fun: an eight-dart rotating drum keeps the shots coming, and the clip-on barrel and scope give it that “tactical” look that makes everyone feel like a movie hero.What it nailsRange and accuracy – For a spring-powered Nerf it fires respectably straight; with fresh darts we were tagging targets at the far end of the lawn.Tool-free customization – The removable barrel and scope snap on firmly, so older kids and adults can tweak the feel without fiddly screws.Party friendly capacity – Sixteen darts in the box (eight in the drum, eight in the reserve holder) meant fewer pauses to reload during the mayhem.Things to considerWeight for younger children – The blaster’s length and front-heavy design were fine for ten-year-olds and up, but the seven-year-olds tired quickly and needed two hands to steady the prime.Priming force – The bolt action has a satisfyingly chunky pull, but smaller hands struggled after a dozen cycles. My son has recently started playing with NERF guns and absolutely loves the games I set up for him. Got him this as an extra one and it arrived the next day in it's original box. He was delighted to say the least to be in when it was delivered. Works great and he took to it straight away.
