Condensation in the loft is usually caused by inadequate ventilation. This can often be remedied quickly and easily if your loft has traditional lapped membrane or roofing felt behind the tiles. The Felt Lap Vents are fitted inside the loft by simply clipping individual vents onto the edges of the felt or membrane close to the eaves. Each felt lap vent creates an air gap delivering up to 3000mm2/m of ventilating airflow. When combined with existing roof space ventilation, fitting evenly spaced lap vents on both sides of the loft will fix most loft condensation problems. Going into a newly insulate attic i noticed a fair amount of condensation, these were a first attempt to improve circulation. Easy to install. I needed 2 packs so did cost quite a bit but I also got soffit vents installed at the same time. Seemes to have reduced humidity in the attic so both together have improved air circulation. Can not say if these on their own soled the issue but together with the vents they worked

My loft has the older tarred-fabric type of under-tile roofing felt. For decades we have suffered condensation during hard frosts, underneath this fabric, with drips onto stored items. This product seems to have solved this problem. We had four days of hard frost in 2024, but no drips. The increased airflow was noticeable. Possible disadvantages include increased heat loss and insect entry. (But we are ready for them!). I rate the product value for money.

We was suffering with a bit of condensation in our loft due to lack of ventilation in our 1940's home. We thing due to the loft insulation being increased and it going to far into the eaves. However the warmth it added was great, hence me looking at other ventilation options. I came across these and thought ah they are worth a shot. So I bought a load and slipped them in-between the roofing felt inside my loft and they work brilliantly. The condensation issue has stopped and I have seen no negatives whatsoever. I have also recommended them to family and friends who have all reported the same.They are simple in design and application, however for the cost and ease of use and the potential damage these prevent they are an absolute bargain.I hope you found this review helpful.CheersShaun

My kids constantly have hot showers and don't even crack the bathroom window, which means that a plume of steam heads straight up the loft hatch and into the attic, creating condensation.These fitted easily in between the material under the roof tiles, allowing/increasing airflow in the attic and has totally eliminated the condensation.The quantity in the pack was perfect for what I needed, making this great value for money.

Six months ago I had all the soffits and fascias replaced with plastic, the lads made a fantastic job and I was very pleased, however in the process they closed off most of the ventilation to the loft and then after a few weeks we started to notice a slight mildew smell, and then, when we had a cold snap during the winter we found condensation was actually dripping from the felt on the inside of the loft. After a great deal of research I found these vents and they have performed a miracle.I bought a Bluetooth Wireless Humidity / Temperature Sensor (also from Bolo) to record the humidity. It’s clever because it keeps a record of all the readings and creates a graph. I got this as the humidity in my loft is high, it's lowered it slightly, I may need to look at the other issues now. I can feel the air coming in now, see the thingy moving with the wind, and on really windy days it makes a fliblblblblblblblbl noise as it moves in the , which can be quite loud.
