Adjustable drip tray

Its a superb well designed machine that heats the water to the perfect temperature in a matter of seconds. The coffee produced is excellent and the size and look of the machine is great since it takes up the minimum of space on the countertop. Operation is simplicity itself and the coffee capsules simply fall into a concealed compartment for disposal. My only gripe is more with the capsules than the machine itself since some brands produce a coffee capsule that is said to be compatible with nespresso machines, but in use they tend to be a little too small and simply fail to fall into place correctly when placed into the machine thus needing a jiggle to get it to sit correctly, however i have now found a good selection of coffee brands that produce the proper sized pods. Overall a splendid little machine that delivers a perfect beverage every morning noon and evening. 5 star product. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ok machine - while it worked. But one week after the return window closed it stated leaking every time we tried to use it.

It makes the coffee well and it seem to be stronger that our previous machine. My biggest issue is that you cannot set the cup size. The espresso size is very small (about a tablespoon full) and the lungo is about a quarter of a mug full (about 75ml). Therefore you have to run it a couple of times to get the right size.

I had it up and running with my first coffee in 3 minutes. Happy with the sleak and simplistic design. Makes great coffee, nice and hot. You can use any Nespresso pods, of which there is the most selection around.

The first of these machines I bought was so nice, neat, easy to use that I bought a second one for a holiday cottage. Unfortunately this one started leaking badly only 2 months in, so whilst it seemed there might be manufacturing issues I liked the design so much that I ordered a replacement and crossed fingers it would be ok, money refunded quickly on return via post office. We’ve only had it two weeks. This one has developed an electrical fault so it trips the fuses every time you try to use it. Going back, obviously. Really sad!

I bought this to replace an old Krups XN250 Nespresso machine which had given up the ghost after many years of service. Nespresso are now pushing Virtuo machines so there are surprisingly few options available for machines using original Nespresso small pods. I am amazed that this Lakeland model is a Which? Best Buy. There is less crema than with my old Krups and I think this indicates a lower pressure pump. The result is much less intense, watery coffee. It is also difficult to install the water container without water spilling out from the valve at the bottom. Very much doubting the reliability of Which? reviews now and am seeing if I can repair my broken machine or find a good secondhand one.
