Feed as and when required, they help your horse to stay calm, confident and focused without affecting their ability to perform. The Calming Cookies will help to take the edge off but not the energy. L-Tyrosine is the active ingredient used to produce the neurotransmitter Serotonin. Serotonin is considered to be a natural mood stabilizer. It can help towards providing a more focused and confident horse. L- Arginine is the active ingredient used by the body to change into nitric oxide (NO). Nitric oxide is a powerful neurotransmitter. As Nitric Oxide levels becomes greater it can help to deliver the amino acids quicker. Contains no fillers, binders or any known prohibited substances as defined by the FEI. Pony seems to like them and he does calm down a bit. Need them every bonfire night as our Parish thoughtlessly moved the village bonfire to be adjacent our paddock. Did not even consult us.

Unfortunatley my horse smelt the cookie, lifted her top lip and refused to go near me until I dropped it. I thought maybe she was being fussy, so I tried it on my constantly hungry, eats anything, pony and received exactly the same response. I, or at least my horses, would not recommend the apple flavoured cookies. A total waste of money for me.

I never write reviews but I had to this time. I wasn't expecting much really but I gave my usually very stressy stallion one of these and I was genuinely stunned. The results were amazing. It knocked the edge off him completely. I fed one as soon as I arrived and by the time I'd finished mucking out he'd started to look visibly more chilled. Things he usually finds stressful were suddenly no bother.I plan to use one the next time the farrier comes. Admittedly he's only 12hh so you might find you have to use more for a bigger horse but honestly I'm really impressed and will definitely buy again.
