Far more sturdy than I expected and the attachments allowed me to replace some damaged decking boards with ease. The variable speed dial is a bonus and useful for differing jobs. The sander attachment proved very good also with different grades of sandpaper and the shaped foot allowed sanding into those awkward corners. All in all a very useful and cost effective piece of kit.

It works OK on full speed as an oscillating saw & scraper but I cannot comment on it as a sander as I did not receive the sanding base plate shown in the photo's.The sanding base plate is not listed in the list of included accessories so I assume the photo's are wrong which I feel is a little misleading. Hence only 4 stars.

Bought this after my Bosch PMF 190 died, giving 10+ years of trouble-free service.Similar to other reviews on here, the blades kept coming off no matter how much I try to tighten the hex bolt, on a couple of occasions the blade flew off at speed and nearly hit me!! (I was cutting 2x2 wood in case you were wondering)This is a dangerous product, it could easily injure someone!!I've taken a couple of pictures to show the little nubs that are supposed to hold the blade securely in place against the oscillating head. They're VERY small / shallow, should be longer / bigger ..etc.Unfortunately I couldn't take pictures of the Bosch head for comparison, but the little nubs it had in comparison were much better!Buyer beware!!
