Ignore the one star reviews and notice that 70% of reviewers have rated this album 5 stars - they just didn't bother to write reviews to accompany their ratings.This is not so much Christmas album as a winter album. Accordingly the music is beautifully bleak, sparse, evocative, elegiac, atmospheric and a perfect soundtrack for the season. Just turn down the lights and wallow in this sheer delight. Simply beautiful and a major find for me this year.

Perhaps the technical quality of the recording is good, but the material that was recorded is truly dysphoric. If you want something to remind you of the darkness of winter, if you are tired of happiness and just want a change, this is for you. If you are looking for something uplifting to get you through the darker months, look elsewhere

Nun ja, wem es gefällt. Ich mag diese Art der sogenannten Neoclassic überhaupt nicht. Ich finde es einlullend, langweilig, seelenlos. Tut niemandem weh (na ja!), sehr schon und gefällig plätschert die Musik so vor sich hin. Geht zum einen Ohr rein und zum anderen wieder raus - Teflonmusik.
