Just arrived - Will post update
The media could not be loaded. The mattress topper came very well wrapped but was easy to unfold. I like that it came with a sheet to lay it on while it rises. There was no smell or odor of any kind. You can see the video of how well the gel memory foam performs.I have it laying flat on the floor and after about sn hour - hour 1/2 it is at 1 and 3/4 inches. It doesn’t look like it’ll need to sit for the entire 24-48 hours, as instructed. It should be at the full 2 inches in another couple of hours, which will be just before bedtime.I will post an update tomorrow to comment on how long it actually took to get to 2 inches, and if it went beyond that, as well as how I slept through the night. So far, I’m happy with the purchase. It’s durable and doesn’t look like it will crack. I’ll decide tomorrow if I had any pain relief in my back and if it’s a good value for the money spent.
more than a year later...
I bought one of these to make my cheapie futon more comfortable-- and since then my partner won't stay off the futon. This was like the end of 2023. I'm now buying a second one for my own bed because it's just so comfortable that I started sleeping on the futon instead lol. Love it.
Comfortable
I bought this to raise up 1 side of a pull out trundle bed. The height was perfect and guests said it was very comfortable. The twin size was the perfect fit for my needs.
Worth every penny
Used this on an old spring mattress that is very hard. I didn't have high expectations for it, bc.. I mean... its foam. I couldn't believe how much of a difference it made. It was just the right amount of soft and firm and cushion. When you get a foam topper you think, "Is this thing just going to collapse and make me all uneven?" But it actually worked very well. I told my spouse that I might get more. When it arrived, I allowed it to fully open up for a few hours before I inspected it. When I first took it out, it looked like there might be some damage on one of the edges, but no. It just needed the fully few hours to open up. I would highly recommend it.
