When the Bluetooth volume on the device was set low and the amp or speakers had a high gain, the audio sounded dull and fell well below the usual quality I expect. By increasing the Bluetooth volume on the TV to near its maximum—leaving some headroom for volume adjustments with the TV remote—and reducing the amp's gain to maintain the same overall volume, the sound improved dramatically. The audio became much cleaner and brighter, with the speakers delivering a quality comparable to a direct line-in connection.

Product is great however it does remain on for a while after being disconnected from. If it automatically turned off after being disconnected from it would be 5 stars. However, still does a good job with my old Hi-Fi system and there is no feedback noise.

My yamagata receiver has built in Spotify but not Bluetooth, as it is an earlier model.This box has resolved all of that.Simply connect with the lead provided into a spare port, pair up to your devices, which was quick and easy. Select on your system, I connected to AV2 on mine and all done .I highly recommend to anyone who is looking to combine old school hi fi and streaming without having to spend big updating their system to do so.

Don’t often leave reviews because I CBA but broke the mould on this occasion.Had this about 2 weeks. Plugged into the amp and hey presto, great sound via Spotify. Not an audio geek so the lag/latency/whatever is irrelevant to me. It works - my amp is a decent one as are my speakers.An occasional disconnect, that simply reconnected itself. Range isn’t great for Bluetooth but I don’t care, I don’t live my life with my phone up my ass, those who do need to give their heads a wobble.It did keep overriding a connection though despite me ‘disconnecting’ a Bluetooth pairing. Had it paired to the TV (after an afternoon of sunny tunes via phone) and when I popped Sky go on my phone, it immediately recognised it and started playing the audio from Sky, despite no instruction to switch. No big deal though, I turned Bluetooth off on my phone.Currently watching a movie with sound via bluetooth from amp, no lag and far better experience than TV speakers. If you’re not an audio snob, this should be spot on for you.Recommend for the price.

I bought this as a similar unit to one i was already using for my parents to connect their tablet to an ageing stereo. It only allows one bluetooth connection and doesn't remember any previous devices, has no battery backup so it was to be on power and its hard to use with terrible instructions and not intuitive controls. i would not recommend
