These lights are great. Govee is my new favourite smart home tech brand. These lights are bright, easy to set up and use with the app and you can change themes to make them all sorts of different colours. 5m length worked really well as under kitchen counter lights. They have lasted really well, and look great. I’ve fitted them with a sensor so now I don’t even need to turn them on, they connect with the app and sensor perfectly and come on every time. Definitely buy from Govee again!!

Bought two sets for the kids bedrooms. Really well made. They have been the main bedroom lights for nearly five years, are on and off several times every day. Still working perfectly. They are really excellent - have great colours and a really bright white. The app has lots of functionality and integrates well with Alexa.

I have invested in Philips Hue around the house, but following a refurb in my PC / Office room I decided to replace the rubbish cheap led strip lights around my desk with some Govee. Reading reviews they seem to be a respected and value for money option. I have installed these going around the sides and back of my black L shaped desk, and they went on very easily, stuck first time and felt a decent quality strip. I have managed to get these around my entire desk and the remaining length underneath some of the front, so it lights up the front of my record collection under the desk. So, plenty long enough. Gives a lovely relaxing classy ambience which is what I am after, not flashing tacky lights. Have to say, I am very impressed with these. I am glad I went for the RBIC version as you get beautiful mixtures of colours around the strip. Much classier than single colours. I haven't began to properly explore the app yet, but looks extensive and supported by the community too. Have set up some automation in the app, but couldn't see a way to get them to come on at sunrise / sunset, just a set time. Not sure if that is an option yet. Overall, very impressed with these

RGB is extremely bright, stands out immediately which is what you would expect. The colour produced from the diodes are quite accurate and the app provides a great selection of different patterns and colours that you can set these at.The real reason this isn’t 5 stars is due to the fact that the diodes are so far apart that any animated effect played on them appears extremely choppy, and begins to looks really bad. If you aren’t planning on having animated patterns, and are looking for an RGBic set of strips which will remain static in chosen colour per diode, then this is more than perfect.The app is extremely well made and compliments this set of lights - you can very easily set different colours, or even get the app to choose a set of colours and patterns based on the mood - whether that’s gaming or a calming mood. This is actually something I use regularly and is really easy to use and works very well. Keeps my setup looking fresh each time and gives it a new moodIn conclusion, this set of lights are perfect for someone looking to a range of different colours across the strip at the same time.I would avoid if you were looking to do animated patterns, and suggest to get the cheaper set if you don’t require RGBic and want to set the strips to one colour and leave it

I purchased the Govee RGBIC Alexa LED Strip Lights, and although the original set arrived damaged, the customer service was outstanding—they replaced it right away without any hassle. The lights themselves are amazing—bright, vibrant, and packed with features like Alexa and Google Assistant compatibility, music sync, and app control. They’re easily the best lights on the market and perfect for any room. Highly recommend!

Sold as outside lighting but one big criticism - the mains U.K. adapter plug.It’s a standard size adapter which means it won’t fit in a standard outside/external rated mains socket. Doh !Other than how the hell do you enclose a large mains adapter outside problem ( and to be fair they’re not the only manufacturer that does this ) the device is well built and the software application will give you every permutation of colour or flashing you could ever want, you’ll just need to buy an IP rated box to house the mains adapter unless you drill a hole in the wall of your house and run the cable to an inside socket.This kind of defeats it’s attraction of being sold as outside led lighting when a fundamental flaw in the mains adapter size prevents use in a standard IP rated external mains socket.Whinge over, the adhesion of the strip appears to be reasonable, mine has been outside in all weathers for a month now, but the surface they were stuck to was pristine and virginal, so prep the area you want to stick them on otherwise the weight of the strip will probably help in its removal.Can be controlled from your phone via the app for on/off and colour schemes and a white switch with adhesive backing if you’d rather not. Price wise, not the cheapest but you get what you pay for, so far so good and Govee do offer some comeback if reliability fails sooner than you’d expect.On balance I’d recommend as ok just be aware of the U.K. adapter issue with external waterproof sockets, you’ll need a mini extension lead and another waterproof enclosure to get over the fundamental flaw in using an adapter that won’t fit a standard external mains socket in the U.K.

The product is more than amazing, and the delivery was fast. I recommend buying it.
