These are lovely pine nuts that I intended to use mainly for baking and mixing, but they’re so moreish that I find myself dipping into them as a snack in their own right. Picking up a few between my fingertips as a quick nibble is proving far too tempting.The taste is definitely buttery, with a taste that reminds me of olive oil and melted butter, with a hint of vanilla in there- and a real flavour, rather than an absence of flavour like you get from some bland nuts. They are tiny nuts with just a little bit of crunch that adds a little bit of texture satisfaction, but overall they have a melt-in-the-mouth feel to them that’s really enjoyable.The product photo shows a plain brown bag, but the product I received has a windowed brown bag, so I can see how much of a dent I’ve already made in the 500g pack just by nibbling. However since 500g is a big bag, it should hopefully last me a little while- but they’ll be long gone by the time the best before date comes round. The best before date on the pack I got was seven months after the date I received the pack.The bag reseals reasonably well for airtightness, but because it’s a windowed bag, if I thought these nuts were going to last longer than I’d shift them into a different airtight and light-free container.The current price of nineteen quid for 500g works out at roughly the same value by weight as the price my local supermarket charges for a 100g bag, so they aren’t especially competitive on value despite it being a large bag- but they’re not overpriced either. And with the lovely smooth taste and the strong snacking appeal, for me these are five star nuts.

Excellent quality, all of them good, could not find a bad one in the whole pack.Amazing to add these to your diet, source of protein, good fats, fibre and more, super heathy and tasty.Can be kept in the original package as air tight. Comes sealed and well packed.Very pleased with them, good quality pine nuts. Would definitely recommend

These pine nuts are of excellent quality, with a creamy colour and a subtly sweet and nutty aroma. They have just the right density, providing an enjoyable bite and a soft texture that is both buttery and indulgent.Furthermore, the shape and colour also confirm their quality. They resemble a regiment of immaculately uniform soldiers, with each nut sharing the same shape and size, without any deformities, cracks, discolouration, or dark spots.Additionally, there are no visible indications of mould or any stale odour, and they lack any unpleasant bitterness.I love how these pine nuts gain a delicate crunch when toasted. Whether enjoyed in a salad or used to create a basil-based pesto, they are delicious.I am very pleased with the quality and freshness of these pine nuts, and when I decide to purchase more, I will definitely look for this brand once more.
